"Once again, another restaurant that would have benefited from AT LEAST 1 extra waiter on the main floor. Took FOREVER to get our drinks and the follow-thru of "How is everything" never happened.

Will not be on my list for dinner in the future."

"Second time here after friends' recommendations. Not bad but nothing special at all. Loud loud loud. Between traveling in India and living in the SF Bay area I've had great Indian food and Bombay Talkie was extremely disappointing."

"EXCELLENT. Celebrated two birthdays on a Sat. night w/13 people--couldn't have been more perfect. We were placed at the bar height table on 1st fl. that allowed us to both sit and mingle in a party-like ambiance. Service was AMAZING: sweet, unpretentious, incredibly responsive. Atmosphere-classy and festive. Food was DIVINE--had plates of Pav Bhaji, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, naans, etc., in a tapas style--we kept ordering through the evening! The ONLY thing on the menu I would say was so so was the Bhagan Bharta. Everything else was over the top! Most of us had one or two of their specialty drinks (including India's Shakspeare--yum) and then we ordered bottles of Chilean wine. Total Price was DEFINITELY reasonable!"

"We come here often,usually as walk in, until we found out that we can use open table. While we always like our experience, the staff does not seem to pay attention when told that we have open table reservation. Once, they reported that we were a no show. Another time, they insisted we had no reservation and I had to show them the EM from OT on my iPhone.

This place used to be very popular, but lately, the crowd has died down. Perhaps the quality of their staff has something to do with it?"

"Food is great. I loved Biryani, Kana, Masala and vegeterian chickens and lambs.
Rolls as a starter are amazing! Spinach, super tasty, and Naan is delicious, both with cheese and plain.
Price is perfect and service is great.
I would highly recommend this place. It's not noisy and I loved to sit in the second floor.
