Bombay Club Restaurant & Martini BistroAbsolutely Perfect TouchA great way to end a perfect day. The secluded table was ideal for my wife and I during our visit while celebrating our 2 year anniversary. The staff was incredibly insightful and the atmosphere had just the right touch near the end of our romantic evening. The food, drinks, and music was great and provided us with a new experience in New Orleans. One that will surely mean a return visit.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMDinning at the Bombay ClubOverall the Food, Service and ambiance was great. The noise level got a little high at times but not enough to put a damper on the night. However, I was a bit surprise with the dress attire of the dinning customers. I personally contacted the Bombay Club to inquire on the dress attire, I was told the dress attire was dressy casual. Customers was wearing shorts and athletic shoes with and without socks. This was a little disappointing to me at the least.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAmbience and cocktails wereAmbience and cocktails were superb. Food was a little disappointing, but overall still a good experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBombay is the bestGreat food and service (ask for Rob). Nice background live music. Try the quail.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMdeliciousi cant wait to go back. the food was outstanding! great drink menu with lots of choices. i also ate my first luxardo cherry and its beyond words!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food and drinksThis was our first time to dine here. Nicole was our waitress. We loved the service, the food, the ambience, and especially the Martinis. Our group had several different ones, so most of us were able to try several different types. I hope that they keep the special dessert martini called "the strawberry shortcake martini" as my wife just loved it. Definitely looking forward to our next stop at this spot.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time dining here.Have been going to Jazz Fest for many years and always try a new restaurant when we return, along with our favorites. Outstanding service and our dinner was excellent, as well. Will definitely being going back!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved this place! Super romantic! My husband and I dined at The Bombay Club on 5-5-13. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was very romantic and peaceful. There is a small area for the musician (that night he played the saxophone, trumpet, and he sang as well!). The food was delicious, we both ordered the ribeye with a twice baked potato. Very tasty! I ordered a glass of wine (white riesling), and my husband ordered a "skinny peach on the beach." They both were good, but I liked my husbands better, so we switched. :)
The service was very satisfactory, and overall, we were very pleased. We will be returning very soon!!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBombay = Bomb!Lol... Great restaurant and amazing food! Good people and good times... That's all you need.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat eating placeWe were original recommended to go to Bombay Club Restaurant by a friend who said they do a knock out Martini there. We were visiting from the UK and travelled down the USA from Minniapolis, Chicago, St Louis, Nashville, Memphis, Jackson and finally staying for 8 days in New Orleans.
This restaurant was the by a country mile the best we restaurant we ate in on our whole journey. The food was to die for, The Martini's were fantastic and the service was superb. Our waiter was helpful, informative and never kept us waiting. The ambience was lovely, with soft jazz playing in the background. Somewhere we will come back to when we return to N.O.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWedding AnniversaryFantastic. We were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. I requested a cozy area. We were placed in a small 'booth' with curtains. SO much privacy. It was very nice. The staff (Nicole) was attentive and helpful in our choices. If you drink Martinis there is a full 10+ page book of drinks and the history of 'Martinez". I will definitely recommend this restaurant. They have a live band playing. It was a great anniversary dinner.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was our first time at theIt was our first time at the Bombay Club, and we were celebrating a 30th surprise birthday. The Bombay Club was so accommodating to our large group. We appreciate the wait staff and management. The food was excellent and the martinis and drinks were awesome. The live music added to the romantic ambiance. Great experience, I'll definitely be back .4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat historic setting forgreat historic setting for a fine meal. would go back anytime4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday CelebrationI had my birthday celebration at this restaurant and truly enjoyed myself. I had a group of 10 that included family, friends and colleagues ranging in age from 30-60. They all had a great time. The jazz band was fantastic and my waiter encouraged them to serenade me. I felt extremely special!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe arrived early and got oneWe arrived early and got one of the private curtained booths, unfortunately the one with a perfect view of the service area. No matter. We didn't want to be too close to the musicians (who were very good!) as it was to be a romantic dinner for us. The martinis were excellent, the filet was perfectly cooked, and the blackened redfish was delicious. The ambiance was very pleasant, except for a brief moment of altercation between the manager and our waiter. The large bar is in the center of the room with tables surrounding it on 3 sides. There isn't a dress code as it's part of the hotel, so folks were dressed from jackets and ties to shorts and flip flops. Again, no matter. Go here, you will enjoy it!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMReally enjoyed the privateReally enjoyed the private booth and then later at the bar with the live piano music.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMy fiance and I loved thisMy fiance and I loved this restaurant! It was intimate and cozy - perfect for a romantic evening. The food was delicious and the service was great! I highly recommend reserving a private booth for a romantic night out.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Good All AroundWe had a very good experience at the Bombay Club. It was a little on the pricey side, but the food was good, the service was good, and we enjoyed the live music. BTW, we had the calamari, the drum, the duck, and the creme brulee, as well as some cocktails. Rob was our server and he was friendly. We sat at a table near the piano, and the seats were such that you would sink into them and then the table seemed very high, so avoid those seats if you are short or would not like that.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was increadible onlyThe food was increadible only to be topped by the service and the live music.
Dining at the Bombay Club was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and they have liveGreat food and they have live music every night! We had a great dinner, the prices are alittle high though3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed the restaurant. We enjoyed the restaurant. It had a cool old fashioned ambience, was unique and special, romantic and the service was excellent. However, while the food was good, I didn't think it was amazing and was very expensive. The menu is small but everything on it sounded good. The "Blissful" chocolate martini was delicious, though not very alcoholic and the dessert was very good.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe stopped in on a WednesdayWe stopped in on a Wednesday night because we were starving and they took care of us wonderfully. We started with the calamari, which are addictive. They were out of the fish of the day, so I got the drum, which though fried, was delicious. My friends both got steaks - the ribeye and the filet - and those were also incredible. Upon returning, I'll probably have to get a steak! Our server Felicia was so sweet - she had actually been our server before and was lovely both times. Also, its worth mentioning (if you don't already know) that they have one of the most comprehensive bar menus around.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and martinis!!My overall experience with the restrauant was great! The food was amazing and the martinis were fabulous! The service was a little slow, but the food and drinks when we finally got them made up for it. I will come back to this restrauant again!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great experience. TheHad a great experience. The foid was good but not excellent. However the atmosphere and service made it a great time. Jazz band that was not too loud and great music. Good service. Will definitely go back. Try it out. Wonderful martini list and drinks.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden Gem in New OrleansCame here while in New Orleans. This is a hidden gem. So happy to have asked for a table not next to the bar since the bar scene got a bit loud. We were in a room off to the side. The food selection was great. The waitress was very attentive and was constantly refilling the water glasses - good for our family. She also brought extra bread after she heard our group state how much they loved it. From the appetizers to dessert it was a great dining experience.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, very good martiniGood food, very good martini menu and a very good music made a fantastic dinner3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat cocktails and live musicWe always love the Bombay, especially the cocktails. If you want special seating like a romantic booth, be sure to request it early!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMSecond visit disappointing! When you arrive at the Bombay Club, you step back in .time to an era when good food was paired with great music in a comfortable setting...but the service is uneven. The first night - a Saturday- the A-team showed up. Great wait staff, attentive and competent. The food was superb, and the music divine. The fish was exquisite - and the martinis well executed. But we made the mistake of going back the next night - based on the Saturday night performance. The wait staff was unable to remember orders - and actually wrote them down table side - so no excuses. The bartender seemed to be in charge, no manager on site- and he presented a punishing attitude to one of the new martini drinkers in our party. Moral? Only go when the a-team is on site.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMBombay Club - Great Find!Excellent. Tucked out of the way, not right on the street. Incredible martini selection! Food was excellent and well-presented. Service was outstanding.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there on St Patrick'sWe were there on St Patrick's Day weekend so the streets were crazy...inside, we were treated to a cozy booth, a fun bar scene, great food and great drink! HUGE portions though, wish we'd have shared!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeSolid restaurant in a very beautiful colonial style British club. The drink list and quality of cocktails is truly great.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI thoroughly enjoyed my experienceI thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Bombay Club. The drinks were outstanding. I also enjoyed my food. I just wish the food option were more varied.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent and unique. We had an excellent time at the restaurant. My wife and I were looking for a nice romantic place at the last minute. We found the service completely attentive, very professional, and the food was excellent. Martinis are extraordinary.2/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place was amazing. WentThis place was amazing. Went for my hunnies birthday and they treated us like kings and queens!!!
