Really good Indian food at a very reasonable price. This restaurant definitely has a great chef in the Kitchen, not just a great cook. The only downer for me was the main course being served before the Appetiser was finished, let alone giving us a little gap to breathe between courses. Otherwise, fantastic and I will be going back soon....

This was our first visit to Bombay Bistro. We enjoyed it very much. The menu is quite extensive. Since we are not familiar with Indian food, our waitress made some suggestions and we both enjoyed our meals. The decor is lovely and the service was excellent.

The restaurant serves good quality Indian cuisine, and unlike most Indian restaurants the presentation is also good. However, I feel the service could improve. This is the achilles heel of all Indian restaurants. They still don't know how to run them like A-class joints.

This was my first time eating true Indian food so I have no experience to base it on but I found the food to be pretty good. We had the fried cheese as an appetizer and I thought they were surprisingly bland. We also had one of their naan breads and again I thought it was bland as well. I had my doubts but when our main dishes came I extremely happy wih the abundance of flavor. We had the chicken taaki and the beef kaadi. They were fantastic! Also the service was great and we got one of the best tables there. The atmosphere was great minus having to sit right next to all the other tables but it was a great time none the less. My advice would be to save your money on the apps and purchase another drink or entree to share.

Everything we had there was fantastic. Portion sizes were spot on, prices were well in line, and it's the ambiance was spot on. My only criticism is that their 'spicy hot' wasn't as hot as I would have preferred.

My husband and I tried this last night and really enjoyed our meal. Had the Vegi app plate and the Samosas where my favorite of the selections. We also had the Chicken Tikka Marsala and cheese balls in sauce. Can not remember what the cheese balls were called. :) Both were very tasty.
We will go back. Price was right too.

Wonderful location in downtown Minneapolis and easily accessible from skyways. The food and staff were fantastic. This was our first visit to Bombay Bistro and we couldn't stop talking about it. Amazing visit and can't wait to return. Definitely try the Peshwari Naan; we took extra home with us!

Well-prepared first-class Indian food. Wide variety of dishes. Small side dishes served with each entree are bland. Food would be improved with less pepper, as the level of heat tends to overwhelm the hearty food flavors. Dishes are offered at two levels of spiciness. Mild is merely overwhelming; if you order the top level, well, get ready...Attentive service in a pleasant setting.
