The restaurant itself is very noisy, but we sat outdoors on the back deck, which was perfect for conversation. Service was okay, though nothing special. The food was pretty much the same. Best item we ordered was my wife's delicious Caesar salad; most disappointing was the brandade which was dry and relatively tasteless. As others have noted, the wine list is not so great either, but there's a nice open bar that serves-up interesting looking and sounding concoctions that might appeal to you. Food choices are labeled for veg, vegan and/or gluten free or not. My steak lovers have not been disappointed. All eat well!

Have been twice now, and had weekly specials both times. Although the space is tight and dark, it adds to the cozy feeling of the restaurant. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. After recommendations from several friends my date and I decided to try the fried chicken with a side of mac and cheese. I was a little disappointed that the fried chicken was burned (I'm use to golden brown chicken, this chicken was dark brown and black in some spots and because of the lighting I didn't realize how burned it was until I brought my leftovers home) however miraculously the meat was very moist. The mashed potatoes w/gravy and the seasonal veggies were delicious and the mac and cheese was out of this world. Will definitely go there again.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
