  • "The fish fry was really good and it was served family style. We found an error in our bill and they were very apologetic and fixed it right away. Our waitress was new and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We had a very nice time and were able to have nice conversation because it was not noisy at all!"

  • "My group of 9 had a great time Friday night in the quiet atmosphere, relaxed surroundings, great food and great service with the complimentary "grape cheese pops" in the real grass centerpiece. No wonder we stayed until they closed the doors--2.5hrs of great food and conversation. Too bad the fish fry Fridays end April 18."

  • "We enjoyed the restaurant for our small group and the fish fry was very good. We liked the bread crust rather better than a batter coating."

  • "We had been to brunch at the Boerner prior to the new management and we're very disappointed. The selection of food was very limited and mediocre. I ordered the butternut squash raviolis. They tasted fine, but My plate was swimming in water. My husband had the baked omelet and pancakes. He received a small square of omelet with three Swedish-sized pancakes. The coffee was extremely weak, something that should not be all that difficult. Would not go back."

  • "Dining in a conference room with metal chairs and music from DJ speakers. I felt like I was at a wedding reception. Our food took 35-40 minutes to arrive; filet mignon was well done when it was ordered medium/medium rare, fish fry was similar to breaded frozen fish that comes in a box at Walmart, breaded chicken tasted similar to chicken tenders from a frozen dinner. Our waitstaff only filled our waters once, and checked in with us only two times throughout the dinner for drinks. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "The General Mgr was overbearing and was wearing dirty clothes. For a buffet, the selection was to little A huge open room with three tables of food and no omelet table."
