Cava Sangria was a nice twist. All of the tapas we ordered arrived quickly and were very tasty. There was a cute back patio but it was raining so they weren't using it, but it looked like a fun place to sit. We take our kids there -- they love good food, too -- and there's something for everyone. The cava sangria is wonderful. The braised short ribs in peppers has gotten smaller over time, but still just a tasty. Try to sit in different rooms -- the vibe outside, downstairs, and upstairs are all different. The food came quickly and was delicious, accompanied by some white sangria. I recommend the seafood stew to split with a friend before digging into some tapas- we chose the spinach with pine nuts, raisins, and apples, the fried balls of chicken, and the seared tuna. My friend and I were happily stuffed. Waiter was very nice, but he could have suggested things to us or given us an idea of how to order (meaning suggesting a number of dishes for our party of 6-7,etc.). We had two pitchers of the (very good) sangria among us and it was about a glass and a half per person, and 5-6 dishes were more than enough. We had calamari, mushroom risotto, beet salad, salmon with olive tapenade, and two of the shrimp, with the house ice cream with figs and port for dessert. We are regular visitors to Spain from the UK and really enjoyed our meal and the experience. However, the service is just ok - especially when it's busy. The sangria leaves a lot to be desired. My waitress was very attentive to me even though the rest of my party wasnt there. The tapas came out very fast after we ordered and the cava sangria was very good.

Our waiter recommended a great wine that was moderately priced. The portions were generous for 2 people to share. All the food was tasty and well seasoned but the standouts were the beef short ribs in piquillo peppers,the monkfish with the chickpea puree, and the grilled cuttlefish. For a veggie we had the sauteed spinach with pine nuts that was perfectly cooked. Our daughter had the chicken croquettes and there are other good choices for the kids.
