It was very tender and had a good taste. It is the sides that come with the entree that could be improved on. Something with the name of cheddar in it that appears it was scooped with a ice cream scooper. Reminded me a cheddar flavored rice. It's ok. The food was just exquisite, fresh, savory, and full of flavor. That was then topped by their first class service. Fantastic halibut--fresh and perfectly cooked. Glad I asked for the sauce on the side as it was somewhat dull. The steak topped with crab and cheese sauce was excellent as well, but the sauce was not needed. Service was excellent--very nice wine selections. They knew it was our 54th Anniversary and everyone wished us well.The food was excellent and Jimmy, our server was great. I wouldn't miss eating at Bodeans. The Bluepoint Oysters were very fresh.The large scallops and Atlantic Char were enhanced by a spicy sauce.We could go on and on about everything. The atmosphere,the music,servers,the comfy banquette are some of the high points. Needless to say, but I will,that we will be back for our Anniversary next year if not sooner.
