The salads were very good! The margarita pizza was great. The truffle mishroom pizza was just okay; not very truffly amd mushrooms sliced too thick. Son loved the pepperoni pizza. I wud go back for the salad and margharita pizza.

We went to bocci for happy hour and stayed all night. I work in Clayton so I am always looking for new places to eat and have drinks, happy hour was fantastic, best prices and selection I have seen so far in Clayton. Service was very nice and professional, the whole staff it seems was involved in my service, the manager stopped by to chat a few times. Nice patio seating and good people watching. I will definitely will be back for more. The items I had: grass fed beef slider, ceviche, margherita flatbread and a few glasses of pino grigio, after happy hour I tried the "High end wine flight" which was 3 red wines that I normally wouldn't try because of the cost. I had the smoked salmon for dinner and it was amazing. Lunch next week! EXCITED

We went here for the first time during Clayton Restaurant Week. We dined at two other highly rated restaurants that anyone from STL would recognize. Both were disappointing and one was terrible. During this event, it's the chance for the restaurants to "wow" you. Bocci did. Food, service, ambience was wonderful. Nice selection of wines by the glass We will definitely return.

They have redone the room and redone the menu and everything clicks. Butternut squash soup with vanilla was unique and delicious. The pork medallions were tender and tasty. Be careful with the hangar steak - that chimichurri sauce gives it a real kick. And while everyone has tiramisu on the menu, who else does a citrus version? This is the second time I've been in since they re-engineered and they new format is working. Very imaginative and, for lack of a better term, yummy.

Made a reservation for restaurant week- wanted to support restaurants in the neighborhood and decided to try one I hadnt been to in a while. 30 minutes- no drinks, 1 hour finally got a salad, 1:50 minutes no food. We walked out and went to a restaurant that would actually feed us. I realize it was busy- but it was restaurant week, shouldn't have been a big surprise and the menu was limited. The worst part was that other tables were on dessert and we still hadn't recieve the first course. Officially off my list

Dined with my boyfriend at the recently reopened wine bar in Clayton, "Bocci Wine Bar". Loved the atmosphere. You can hear your conversations, service was fantastic and the food items easy to choose and share. I especially loved the scallops in bourbon honey glaze! It paired well with my "European Whites" wine flight. I will definitely be back. Next time I'm trying the duck/fig flatbread. Great new hot spot!

We really enjoyed our meal at Bocci this past Saturday. The hummus and pizza pita was a fabulous way to start, the pizza pita texture made it special. We then proceeded to have the Bocci salad which was refreshing. I loved the avacado slices and the grilled lemon was an elegant touch. For my entree I had the seared scallops which were amazing and huge. I was not a fan of the pea risotto but that's probably because I don't care much for rice. I would have rather had vegetables. My bf had the arctic char and was very pleased. It's a light dish with a nice size filet of fish (similar to trout) and plenty of veggies. To end the night we split the tiramisu which was also very good, standard but good just the same.

Very disappointing. I went to Bocci when it first opened and it was a totally different place. Meal started off bad when stale focaccia was served. And when I asked for a different bread I was told it was all they had. No crusty bread at an Italian restaurant? Ordered shaved asparagus that was poorly shaved served with a few bits of tasteless truffle. And spinach ravioli that was served in a bowl with globs of cream sauce. It was basically creamed spinach. The biggest letdown was the Bocci salad. I had raved about this salad from earlier visits. Just one look at this salad and I knew it wasn't even close. Just bad, very bad.

This was my second time at Bocci and I felt like a regular. Staff is well trained and exude genuine warmth and hospitality. Wine selection is good and well priced. Each of the dishes arrived timely and were well prepared. Menu needs a bit of rounding out and balancing. I think it needs a little more depth, especially on dishes with red wine affinity. Overall, a great place and I will be a regular.

The small plates and signature bread were the highlight. Reasonably priced for the value. There were six of us and we had appetizers a couple of cocktails per person and entres and the bill was just under $50 per person. Great service, very attentive owner, and manager. Cool atmosphere we hung out comfortably for a couple of hours. Great find.

The food was very good, but the service was a little slow. There weren't many people in the restaurant at the time we were, but it took a long time to get our food which was only toasted ravioli and a pizza. By the way, the lobster claw-BLT pizza is outstanding as is the complimentary focaccia bread. Menu items are a little pricey, but it's still a restaurant to go to.

We choose Bocci for dinner with a couple of friends and were very impressed. They had just updated the menu that day so we were able to choose from the new menu and the Clayton restaurant week menu. I had the grouper and was blown away. It was delicious; so flavorful and light. The meatball app looked beautiful & my fellow diners said it was amazing. The house wine option was delicious for the price and dessert was a wonderfully flaky Italian cookie filled with chocolate creme (can't remember the name!). Thats only a fraction of the food we ate & everything was perfec. The service was also great, lots of information but also lots of time for us to just talk, drink wine and enjoy our dinner.

Our waiter, though knowledgeable and attentive, was too intrusive and talkative for my group's preference. one member of our group had this particular waiter in the past and experienced the same behavior, which was almost enough for her fiance to leave. however, the food here is delicious and the menu had many tempting itema. We were seated by the manager who was an absolute delight. though we were not a big group, two large groups were there at the same time as us and looked comfortably accommodated. we'll be returning!

Our dinner was very nice. I had an amazing salad with figs and gorgonzola and a special butternut squash ravioli that was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the feel of the space is cozy. It was a little empty, though, for a Friday night. My only suggestion would be a few more moderately priced wines by the bottle...the prices for wine seemed quite high.

We went Sat night for a late dinner. Service was pretty good, although it took 15 minutes to deliver wine after order. The manager visited each table, which was a nice touch. Salad was good (greens, fig, cheese, etc.) but canneloni looked like it had been reheated in a microwave & tasted about like that, too. Restaurant is attractive. Not sure a second chance is warranted.

We just had a large party dinner at Bocce this past weekend. The food was delicious, the presentation was devine, the service was amazing and we all had a fabulous time! I will say that they were extra accommodating because we literally gave them 2 hours for a party of 14. We had to leave to get my father off to his surprise party and a delay at the restaurant would have put a wrench in things but, they got us out in time amazingly enough and served us all the best tasting birthday cake I think I've ever had! Thank you to the Bocce Bar staff for making that evening one to remember! We WILL be back!
