Bocci - St. LouisDelicious Food, but change musicWe like dining at Bocci and especially enjoy the home-made pastas. The service is attentive, but the music is LOUD '80's and really doesn't match the dining. We definitely will return, but will try to get away from the noise, out by the sidewalk.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentWe have visited Bocci about 6 times now and the food, service and ambience has been excellent every time.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI don't understand why thisI don't understand why this place wasn't busier on a Satuday night.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMmy new favorite spot in claytonHad early dinner with wife. Both have one of the two specials. the strip steak cooked perfect, wife had halibut one of the boxes dishes I have ever seen. The server was great, and the wine list had great value. At the end of the meal the manager came over and talked with us for a few minutes. if you haven't tried this place yet I recommend you do.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMEuropean AmbienceFantastic menu with eclectic flavor combinations and decadent desserts. Superb wine list and personal attention from wait staff and the owner of the restaurant.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner with friendsBocci is a great restaurant! Great food, always adding creative dishes and consistent from one time to the next. A place you can o and talk to those at your table....and hear them. Service from the time you are great until presented the check is very professional and attentive.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent meat at Bocci! We really enjoyed our meal at Bocci this past Saturday. The hummus and pizza pita was a fabulous way to start, the pizza pita texture made it special. We then proceeded to have the Bocci salad which was refreshing. I loved the avacado slices and the grilled lemon was an elegant touch. For my entree I had the seared scallops which were amazing and huge. I was not a fan of the pea risotto but that's probably because I don't care much for rice. I would have rather had vegetables. My bf had the arctic char and was very pleased. It's a light dish with a nice size filet of fish (similar to trout) and plenty of veggies. To end the night we split the tiramisu which was also very good, standard but good just the same.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMnice dinner in ClaytonThe food was excellent - my wife's pizza was just delightful, as was my lobster pasta. WE also enjoyed the wine. It was nice to see owner serving food.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat hospitalityThis was my second time at Bocci and I felt like a regular. Staff is well trained and exude genuine warmth and hospitality. Wine selection is good and well priced. Each of the dishes arrived timely and were well prepared. Menu needs a bit of rounding out and balancing. I think it needs a little more depth, especially on dishes with red wine affinity. Overall, a great place and I will be a regular.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe small plates and signatureThe small plates and signature bread were the highlight. Reasonably priced for the value. There were six of us and we had appetizers a couple of cocktails per person and entres and the bill was just under $50 per person. Great service, very attentive owner, and manager. Cool atmosphere we hung out comfortably for a couple of hours. Great find.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGood but PriceyThe food was very good, but the service was a little slow. There weren't many people in the restaurant at the time we were, but it took a long time to get our food which was only toasted ravioli and a pizza. By the way, the lobster claw-BLT pizza is outstanding as is the complimentary focaccia bread. Menu items are a little pricey, but it's still a restaurant to go to.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFrom manager to parking weFrom manager to parking we had a wonderful experience.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat location, service, andGreat location, service, and food.
