Diner Reviews
  • "I was not expecting this place to be as outstanding as it turned out to be...from the moment you walk in everyone there is warm and friendly making sure to cater to your every need. The wine list is decent but the food is truly where it's at. The antipasto and homemade pasta make my mouth water just writing about it now. Ask for Marco as your server and you will not be disappointed!"

  • "I really enjoying back to Bocce Bar. The services was exceptional and we receive a lot of detail from the team and the Kitchen. I went with my parents and it was the first night in Miami, they had the best experience ever. Thanks to Bocce Bar team and outstanding services. If you are visiting Miami, go to Bocce Bar in Midtown Miami, out of the crazy south beach and try Cauliflower, Burrata Cheese and Fry Codfish."

  • "Most every Saturday, my wife and I drive from Fort Lauderdale to meet our daughter and her family for a late night dinner at Bocce Bar. This Saturday night was just another exemplary food experience like every other one. Since Bocce Bar recently changed their menu, we've tasted and loved the lamb meatballs and sauce as well as the heirloom tomatoes and the pastas especially the ravioli filled with beets, which is amazing. The vibe and the people at Bocce Bar are just great. Each time we leave, on our drive home we try to rank each of the appetizers and main dishes for what we enjoyed most. We struggle to rank one above the other -- they are all just lip smacking delicious. We can't wait til next Saturday night. We love Bocce Bar! Yum!"

  • "Bocce Bar and Grill offers a feel.good atmosphere with absolutely delicious Italian food. My family.enjoys this special restaurant almost.every weekend. We're made to feel lime family while we.smack our lips from several appetizers or the pastas. Saturday nights only at 11pm the chef makes a special pizza they call "11 at 11" that is always extraordinary. The tortino or nutella sundae desserts end a perfect meal. I cant recommend Bocce Bar enough if you want an extraordinary food experience."

  • "Just visited Bocce Bar and was very impressed. The place is beautiful and cool. Perfect for a celebration or a any night out. The food was great especially the octopus, burrata, but the Orecchiette was amazing!"

  • "We chose to celebrate my husband's birthday here having previewed the menu online. The [special] veggie terrine was as beautiful to eat as it was to look at. I had a taste for octopus and was pleased to find the Polipo alla Griglia exceeded my expectations. The cocktails and wine were delish and our server was able to answer specific questions to help us make optimal choices. Torta di Polenta al Pistachio Siciliano took my breath away- I don't think I've ever had a better dessert in a restaurant, the lovely birthday dessert they brought my spouse was tasty and beautiful. The service was really nice & we both appreciated how attentive everyone was. The restaurant ambiance was rustic & lovely."

  • "I am sure Bocce has great things in the menu... but I am in love with the 2 or 3 things that I always order. Those platers make me wanna go again."

  • "We've been to Bocce Bar 3 times. Overall the food is good and I think the quality is very high. Each time I go I find the service incredibly frustrating. The bussers have no clue what is going on. We told them that my son had a dairy allergy so they offered to give him sorbet. What came out was actually ice cream which we did not figure out until he ate a few bites. Most of the dishes we had were very good, some were only OK. Particularly bad though was the baked artichoke. It was greasy and not seasoned well. I also find their food really heavy for some reason. That being said, it is a really nice atmosphere and they have a nice menu. I just find myself annoyed every time I go."

  • "It's a great places to have dinner, but as always I spect better services. They need some training in who they treat customers. Food is great and delicious, specially the cauliflowers and burrata."

  • "Great Restaurant, wonderful high energy atmosphere, wonderful food from a creative menu and great wine list. Come to party, and come with patience...once it gets full, the staff struggles just a bit to handle the crowds!"

  • "I celebrated my birthday at Bocce Bar. They happily accommodated my party of 10 and provided the best service. Our food was incredible, the glasses were constantly being refilled and they even gave me a complimentary glass of wine for my birthday. Amazing staff, food and environment. A new favorite spot in Miami."

  • "Food was great. Great for friends night out. A little loud, not so good for romantic date."

  • "What an incredible kitchen! The food was amazing! Octopus was the best I've ever had and the cauliflower dish was divine. Flavorful all around! Well rounded menu, good prices. Design of the restaurant is attractive. Seats are a bit hard and the uneven floors, while visually nice, are difficult for someone in a walker to navigate and it's a long way in - definitely not senior or disabled friendly. In fact, not easy for a woman in heels to navigate either. The noise level is high. I sometimes wonder why men do not take these things into account when designing a restaurant."

  • "Most dishes were good, but beet salad lacked ricotta salada and was tasteless. Pasta was excellent, but Bolognese was awful. Swordfish was excellent."

  • "The antipasto was probably the highlight of the brunch. There was a wide variety and had good flavor. The chef's specialty dish that I had was the milk braised veal. It had great flavor and texture but I would have liked the portion to have been a little bigger. The desserts, especially the tiramisu pudding, were enjoyable. All in all, a good meal but nothing extraordinary. "

  • "Great place and great food. Unfortunately we had to wait one hour to get our table and had to spend extra money at the bar. Besides that, the food was very good and so was the service and the ambience"

  • "Went here expecting a nice ambiance, decent service and just 'ok' food (considering Yelp reviews). I was very misled by yelp on the food part, we had a great time and all the food was amazing. Guessing because they opened during Art Basel (which is an insane week to open a new restaurant and work out the kinks) they probably were put through a crazy stress test and disappointed a few clients early on. Regardless, I went on a quiet Wednesday night recently, the food, drinks, ambiance and service were amazing, I would definitely recommend to a friend. I didn't get a chance to play bocce ball, but a few people seemed to be really enjoying it."

  • "Love this place. It looks like a Tuscan farmhouse, but very cool. The food is great, though tends a little towards the rich side on the pasta and desserts, which are best to share. The panna cotta with passion fruit is outstanding, and the gelato is great. Everyone is very nice, in a natural way. Fun scene - everyone is welcome."

  • "Easter brunch with friends was spectacular. The hostess went out of her way to accommodate our last minute request to change our reservation from 3 people to seven. The service was beyond attentive and the food was authentic, Italian with amazing attention to detail. Every bite was was beyond describable. The only way to communicate the experience is to experience it for yourself. I recommend Bocce Bar with a 500 star rating!!!!!!! "

  • "The "oriental look" girl in the entrance send us to the bar to wait and we saw how she seat a couple first than us. We had reservations and we wait more than 20 minutes. Also the same girl insist to leave open the door that go to the terraces even we tall them that where super windy and we where cold and uncomfortable, she was rude and no friendly at all. I love this place but every time that I go from now on and I see this girl, the experiences won't be pleasant, in fact I will uncomfortable. The Services Girl, was another story and she knows how to take care of the people she is serving. She was really go and I happy to come back, because of her and the food."

  • "The hostess was very sweet, the place was nicely decorated. We ordered lamb meatballs which was very tasty. Unfortunately the good times ended there. I ordered the pasta special and my husband ordered a pizza also on the specials list. My pasta consisted of maybe 5 mini tortellini sized bites. The sauce was watery and included frozen peas which were tasteless. I am really not joking about the 5 bites. My husband's pizza had a lot of sauce and barely any cheese, more than 2/3 of the pizza had no cheese at all only sauce. Since we were still hungry we made the mistake of ordering a chocolate desert. It was nothing special. A $170 bill for a disappointing lunch means we will not be coming back."

  • "Our second visit to Bocce Bar was as good as the first one. We had a roasted beet salad and the carote al forno. This time the carrots were a bit mushy but still good. The swordfish was perfectly cooked. The ravioli di melanzane were simple but good. As walways, the desserts are divine. Again, we had the cannoli and also a millefeuille. Will definitely return."

  • "This was our second visit. A friend brought us here a couple of weeks ago and we had a great meal, so when our daughter came home for spring break with six friends, Bocce was our top choice for showing off Miami's exciting dining scene. We made a good choice. Everyone raved about the food, and one guest proclaimed that it was the best meal she's ever had. Some of our favorites: all of the cheeses, kale Caesar, pasta bolognese, chicken, lamb shank and carrots. (I'm sure the beef short rib would have made the list, too, but it was 86'd.) For dessert, we had the panna cotta (excellent), Nutella sundae (even better) and the cannoli (out of this world, and nothing like a traditional cannoli, of which I'm not a fan). Can't wait to go back."

  • "We were there early on a Sunday evening prior to a performance at the Arsht, so it was pretty quiet, but the food was really delicious. The pastas and the vegetables were amazing and reminded me of being in Italy. Many options for vegetarians/pescatarians. We will definitely be back."
