I have been there twice for brunch, I will not go again. Great location, service and ambiance. The brunch offered is a mixture of an antipasto table, an omelette station and your pick of a main dish from short list of items. All this for $50... The antipasto table has some meats, cheese, terrible bread, and some vegetables.

For me I thought it was over priced for what you get. For an entree I ordered scallops which were $28, which consisted of 4 scallops and a few green beans. If I was on a diet this would be the perfect meal but since I am not I left hungry Was not impressed by the menu either Personally I won't go back

  • Corkage fee is way too high
    BvanbowerVIP
    Dined on 8/30/2014
The food and service are excellent. The wine list has a nice assortment of good wines, especially whites. The corkage fee of $45 per bottle is obscene. Our party of five brought three reds from our personal cellars that would best any of the wines on their list. In addition, we ordered two bottles of white from the wine list. Still got charged for corkage. They should rethink this cost. They are certainly entitled to a corkage fee but $45 is crazy.

The food was magnificent. I just cannot describe how wonderful it is to live so close to this gem of a restaurant, I could eat there everyday and not get tired. The service was wonderful, friendly, attentive and charming. The atmosphere is comfortable and I felt as if I was in a villiage in Tuscany. At dinner the sound volume is a bit loud as is all Miami resturants, lunch is quiet and relaxed.

Went on a Friday night, part of my party arrived a little after 8pm and we were promptly seated although the rest of our party had not yet arrived. We got the table by the patio door, it was really hot when that door opened. The waiter was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to splitting the check. Drinks were delicious!! My favorite was there namesake Bocce ball, but I'll go back to try others.

A must try; we will definitely be going back. We were blown away with the quality of the food and on-point service. The duck ravioli special was superb, as was the ricotta cheese appetizer (very unique and refreshing take on a classic). Never taster carrots so adequately prepared; who would have thought carrots could be so good. The dessert cannoli was also a great way to finish off the meal. The server and the whole team were on point with replacement plates, utensils, and refilling our water when needed. She wasn't too versed on the wine list, but promptly brought someone over who could assist with our selection (we aren't too familiar with Italian wines). It was a great experience overall, and can't wait to go back and try more.

Even Bocce Bar just changed chefs the food remains as good as it has been--wonderful. 3 of us split the best carrots served anywhere, octopus (perfect) and the burrata. Two of us had the artichoke ravioli and one had the beet ravioli and both drew rave reviews. we had a good Negroni to start and had a bottle of the Hafstatter Pinot Noir. Topped off the evening with a very good Affogata. The place is very good looking and the service was professional and friendly. This was our 5th visit and we will keep coming back.

Next door to Sugarcane, and owned by the same company, Bocce Bar is a delighful modern take on a rustic Italian Trattoria. We tried the Miami Spice lunch for our first visit, an excellent selection. We enjoyed the roasted vegetrable terrine with whipped goat cheese, the lamb meatballs, wild mushroom, marscapone, fontina pizza, the pistacchio dark chocolate panna cotta and banana mille foglie for dessert. The wine selection is concise but well designed with many good selections by the glass or bottle. There is even an enomatic mahine. Our waiter was from Italy, Treviso. The staff is well trained and knowledgable. Many pastas, chesses and salumi are made in house. We enjoyed the food and experience and will return.

The food and service were excellent, I wish it would have different set up as far as seating, it feels too crowded and the noise level is very high. We were seating against the wall and eventhough we were only one couple we felt we were having dinner with the four people seating next to us on both sides, in other words the tables are just too close together.

I was not expecting this place to be as outstanding as it turned out to be...from the moment you walk in everyone there is warm and friendly making sure to cater to your every need. The wine list is decent but the food is truly where it's at. The antipasto and homemade pasta make my mouth water just writing about it now. Ask for Marco as your server and you will not be disappointed!

Most every Saturday, my wife and I drive from Fort Lauderdale to meet our daughter and her family for a late night dinner at Bocce Bar. This Saturday night was just another exemplary food experience like every other one. Since Bocce Bar recently changed their menu, we've tasted and loved the lamb meatballs and sauce as well as the heirloom tomatoes and the pastas especially the ravioli filled with beets, which is amazing. The vibe and the people at Bocce Bar are just great. Each time we leave, on our drive home we try to rank each of the appetizers and main dishes for what we enjoyed most. We struggle to rank one above the other -- they are all just lip smacking delicious. We can't wait til next Saturday night. We love Bocce Bar! Yum!

Bocce Bar and Grill offers a feel.good atmosphere with absolutely delicious Italian food. My family.enjoys this special restaurant almost.every weekend. We're made to feel lime family while we.smack our lips from several appetizers or the pastas. Saturday nights only at 11pm the chef makes a special pizza they call "11 at 11" that is always extraordinary. The tortino or nutella sundae desserts end a perfect meal. I cant recommend Bocce Bar enough if you want an extraordinary food experience.

We chose to celebrate my husband's birthday here having previewed the menu online. The [special] veggie terrine was as beautiful to eat as it was to look at. I had a taste for octopus and was pleased to find the Polipo alla Griglia exceeded my expectations. The cocktails and wine were delish and our server was able to answer specific questions to help us make optimal choices. Torta di Polenta al Pistachio Siciliano took my breath away- I don't think I've ever had a better dessert in a restaurant, the lovely birthday dessert they brought my spouse was tasty and beautiful. The service was really nice & we both appreciated how attentive everyone was. The restaurant ambiance was rustic & lovely.

We've been to Bocce Bar 3 times. Overall the food is good and I think the quality is very high. Each time I go I find the service incredibly frustrating. The bussers have no clue what is going on. We told them that my son had a dairy allergy so they offered to give him sorbet. What came out was actually ice cream which we did not figure out until he ate a few bites. Most of the dishes we had were very good, some were only OK. Particularly bad though was the baked artichoke. It was greasy and not seasoned well. I also find their food really heavy for some reason. That being said, it is a really nice atmosphere and they have a nice menu. I just find myself annoyed every time I go.

What an incredible kitchen! The food was amazing! Octopus was the best I've ever had and the cauliflower dish was divine. Flavorful all around! Well rounded menu, good prices. Design of the restaurant is attractive. Seats are a bit hard and the uneven floors, while visually nice, are difficult for someone in a walker to navigate and it's a long way in - definitely not senior or disabled friendly. In fact, not easy for a woman in heels to navigate either. The noise level is high. I sometimes wonder why men do not take these things into account when designing a restaurant.
