I've been here for both brunch and dinner. While both were good meals, the restaurant is much more alive for dinner than for brunch. For dinner you get traditional Italian fare--delicious pastas, risottos, etc. For brunch, the menu is more extensive than other Italian restaurants with some plays on regular brunch items. Definitely worth trying for at least one meal or another!

Bocca east is wonderful! I always feel like I'm back in Italy and love that my waiter spoke Italian. Wonderful pasta and great music which only adds to the ambience.

Overall a great neighborhood spot! The ambiance is the best part about the place - rustic feel and a little more hip than your traditional UES Italian joint. Food is very good. Service is OK. I had great service the first time I was there and mediocre service the second time.

Chose Boca East as it was close to the Met. The service was attentive and the decor was charming. Our appetizer lacked flavor - the sauce a colored oil, but the rabbit was delicious. The food was fresh, just lacked on flavor.
