A word from Boca Pizzeria, Village Mall at Corte Madera
Boca Pizzeria is located in The Village at Corte Madera.

Boca Pizzeria is an Italian inspired Pizzeria utilizing the abundance of Northern California’s seasonal ingredients, while showcasing local micro breweries and wine country’s boutique varietals. Boca Pizzeria has always been our little neighborhood gem we had in mind for years, where we can dine with our friends, family and loved ones.

Our pizzas are authentic Neapolitan style, which cooks for no more than 2 minutes in a 900 degree Italian wood burning oven, is made from double milled 00 Caputo flour. Our sauce is made of the finest San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. We make house-made mozzarella cheese daily.

We support local farmers in an effort to bring you the freshest ingredients.

  • "lots of kids.....clears out by nine. Awesome polenta mushroom appetizer...and can't go wrong on the arugula pizza"

  • "Read yelp reviews before booking. New to the area, it was all we had to go on. Reviews were good, but we were still unsure when booking since the restaurant was in a shopping center. It was fantastic! Great food and amazing service! And dining with a three year old we still weren't out of place! Great find!"

  • "We had pizza, pasta, pecorino flan and grilled baby octopus. All was delicious. Service was good, but the server kept trying to remove plates before we were finished- big pet peeve! I was still eating and everyone else's plate had been cleared. :("

  • "We like to stop by for impromptu casual dinners. My husband always gets a pizza and enjoys being able to customize the toppings. I am in love with the Tuscan White Bean & Kale soup. Last time I asked if I could have the recipe and the manager/owner actually sat down with us and gave me step by step directions. The salads are fresh, creative, and a step above what you find in most restaurants. The service was extremely attentive and well-trained. "

  • "We are frequent diners who had a TERRIBLE experience. Service very slow, despite many empty tables. We ordered flatbread, assured it had only a hint of garlic. It came with heavy garlic, so we sent it back, asking for NO garlic. They redelivered with garlic, but said it had much less garlic! That went back, too. My husband ordered a steak cooked medium, and it came rare. They took it back, recooked the slices, dried it out! He told the mgr, who said he should have had a new piece, so it went back again! They brought a dessert we didn't want, and when the check came, they hadn't removed ANY charges, not even the $5. flatbread! An amazing demo of poor management. We were there for over an hour and a half for this terribly unpleasant dinner!"

  • "Always stop in at boca when we're at the village in corte Madera and we'll often stop in for a late lunch on our way home from San Francisco. I particularly like their boca salad and even the smaller one is quite large, it's delicious. Their grilled chicken wrap is particularly tummy as are the pizzas and Beet salad. It's just a really good place to eat with a terrific staff. It's our go to place in that area."

  • "This was a great find! The pizza was fantastic (and I'm originally from NYC!). Had the Pizza Calabrese with dried sausage and the crust was thin and flavorful. My friend had the house salad that was gigantic, and great as well. We'll be back."

  • "I really love this place. We arrived on the later side so it was winding down which was nice for us. The food and service were still very good."

  • "Met friends here for a very nice dinner! The Manila clam appetizer was absolutely heavenly! Haven't had a bad meal ever. Nice option for dinner or lunch!"

  • "Pizza is good!. Wood fired, delicious crust, and they do not skimp on the toppings. The bar tenders are always busy, creating quite a show with their flourishes. Lots of children here, in varying states of behavior. But everyone enjoys themselves and the wait staff are efficient and friendly. Salads and other entrees are served in large portions and are tasty. And your pocket book will not shrink as the prices are reasonable."

  • "Good food, nice atmosphere, service could be polished up a bit."

  • "We were three for lunch. Service was swift and responsive throughout the meal. As a general comment, I had recommended Boca because of the small plate offerings. I had the Pecorino Flan and roasted beet salad. The salad was too large for what I consider a small plate. The flan is areal hit. The accompanying toasts were dry and tasteless. Perhaps a different bread? A baguette? I will have the flan again. The party that had the Pizza Margherita was disappointed, saying it tasted burned. The third diner had one of the tasty salads and no complaint. Too bad Boca is in a shopping center. It loses character No help there. I will certainly recommend Boca for lunch. It is a good price performer with overall good food and excellent services."

  • "We had a reservation on a holiday weekend Saturday night at 7:30p. True as reviewed below -- reservations just mean you are probably next in line. But the host was very accommodating and aware of our 10-15 minute wait. The menu is varied Italian. We enjoyed it I was most impressed with the bar service. Our drinks came out very quickly for a packed house. Though better true Italian can be found this is a fine balance of food quality and selection, price, and family fun."

  • "Boca was surprisingly bust for a midweek dinner, but we were seated after a brief wait, and our server delivered dinner for our toddler grandson very quickly. Manager and hostess were great - attentive, courteous and efficient. Food was good - two entree salads and the short ribs dinner. Portions were generous, including the child's spaghetti plate. Would have appreciated some bread for the table especially since two salad entrees were ordered. Short ribs were tasty, although some bites were a bit dry. Overall, a very good midweek dinner experience."

  • "We made a reservation, arrived a few minutes early only to be told, "We're busy, but you're at the top of our list because you made a reservation". We watched them seat literally everyone else (at least 7 tables) before sitting us: 25 minutes late. With two young kids, 25 minutes is a long time. Food is quite good - in fact, very good - but we were not pleased with wait nor the false assurances."

  • "Always good, hot food and fresh vegetables served by a very friendly staff. Music selection and loudness could be improved."

  • "Price performance is very good - good food, reasonable price, good service. Food is not excellent like a $$$$$ restaurant, but good, and always consistent. Good portion, too. This is my go-to place for lunch when I'm in corte madera."

  • "Good ambience. Attentive service. Salads a bit overpriced . All of our food was yummy."
    Dined on 10/4/2013
  • "Slow service for each item. Beverages 10 minutes. 20 minutes for entrée. Brought salads same time as entrée. Pizza is only good. Crust was a bit soggy and could have been prevented by leaving pizza in over for about 20 more seconds. There's no reason to come here because there are so many better places."

  • "Good food with fresh vegetables served on hot plates at reasonable prices makes this a weekly favorite, esp. on Monday when bottles of wine are half price. Service is professional and attentive."

  • "Food always served hot on a hot plate with fresh vegetables sets this restaurant apart from many others. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices extremely reasonable. Could do without the rap style, a bit too loud music."
    Dined on 8/5/2013
  • "The food is good at a decent price and they have a nice wine list, and bottles half-price on Mondays! Boca is a welcome addition to dining locations at the mall, and in the general area. I eat vegan, and their rigatoni in marinara is a good meal."

  • "The food at Boca Pizzeria is generally well-prepared. The pizzas have nicely blistered crusts, the salads are generous in size and there is a variety of appetizers that are fun to share with friends. They also have a pleasant outdoor patio. The service is a different story though. The servers seem to wander around chatting with other each other, the bartender and the manager and tend to customers when the spirit moves them. I don't understand the attitude. Too bad. I guess that explains why they dole out coupons so easily."

  • "Great place to grab a bite after shopping......nice place to sit outside but, overall the seating is not that comfortable.....food is outstanding....wine compliments food......good neighborhood place"

  • "We had a sausage and pepperoni pizza - it was excellent. We also tried the flatbread, also very good. The regular Margarita was very unbalanced and sour - would not recommend it. Nice outdoor patio area - Friday night music was playing. This is a nice and noisy family place that is very kid friendly."

  • "Pizza was okay but the octopus salad that was so great last time was severely lacking octopus. Plus we were taken to a table that was about 8 feet from a car parked at the curb"
    Dined on 6/7/2013
  • "The patio is nice on a warm evening and is was a surprise to see there was live music. It was very busy and popular as ever. Service was very good, and attentive. The octopus starter was as good as ever and we tried the arichoke this time since they were out of teh flan. It was fine. The pizzas were inconsistent and not up to prior visits. The crust on the mushroom pizza was ok, but the procuitto pizza was flat and dull - it seemed liek teh dough was over worked. Toppings were fine. All in all it was fine, just not as good as they can be."

  • "I would definitely meet friends here for lunch. A welcome addition to the dining options at The Village. The beet salad is exceptional. The outside dining option is a little impacted by traffic in the parking lot-but what can you expect. It is in a shopping mall! Next time I'll try the pizza which looked amazing."

  • "Boca is a great spot to enjoy a fine meal and good service. I especially like their choice of speciality cocktails with the highlight of the refreshing Moscow Mule. If you wish a perfectly done Salmon filet or a Margherita pizza or Caeser Salad this restaurant presents delectable options for you to eat. They also present creative choices on the menus such as pizza made with brussel sprouts. Special note is the banana pudding- simply divine!"

  • "Had high hopes but below average. Menu descriptions sound good but it all tastes line what you'd get at an Applebee's. it was busy, and will remain so, because of the limited options at the mall but I'd spend a couple more $$ and at least opt for Il Fornaio."
    Dined on 1/26/2013
  • "If you are in the shopping center and want to grab something to eat, this place is okay. The food is fairly consistent - flavorful and well-prepared pizzas, pasta and salads. But the service is also consistent - indifferent, inattentive and very slow. Stop in for a bite to eat if you can tolerate the service."

  • "My boca salad was comprised of 7/8 lettuce. I was picking around with my fork to try to find the chicken, raisins etc that was suppose to be the salad. I told the waiter and he brought me a tiny cup of chopped chicken. I was not happy at all, and I would hesitate going back there, when there are other good restaurants in the area. However, the restaurant did look nice for xmas."

  • "Food and wine very good. Music too loud for a non-fast food restaurant."

  • "the outdoor setting was delightful and service was good. the veal was generous and well prepared, but sauce on the pasta dish was much too heavy..."

  • "good location Suprisiingly good food for mall location Pizza--terrific"
    Dined on 10/28/2012
  • "Service was good but lamb salad needed more than lamb on a huge pile of greens to be tasty. Lack of gluten free pizza dough inexcusable as most places now have it. Plain bread is not available for bread eaters, just crostini or panini, I think."
    Dined on 10/26/2012
  • "We shared a delicious salad of fresh greens with chicken and pears and a veggie pizza with a nicely blistered crust and roasted mushrooms. The food is worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating is comfortable. The down side of this place is the indifferent service. It is pretty clear that the managers and servers would rather stand around and chat than work."

  • "Our party had a great dinner on the front patio. Excellent atmosphere, the cocktails are some of the best in Marin. The food is solid from top to bottom. The cheese flan-yum! The pizzas are as close to what we've eaten in Naples; there are few places in Marin that can pull off the right cooking technique. I would be remiss in not mentioning the desserts, outstanding. Overall a really great dinner."
