Although I was impressed with the menu selection the overall experience left something to be desired. The execution on the food was a mixed bag. While I love ceviche the presentation was quite different that what I was used to and not as tasty. My chicken was good but my friend found the pork to be very dry. The ambiance indoors was non-existant. We dined outside which was somewhat better. For the entire time we were there for dinner my friend and I were the only customers. I'd like to think this restaurant has potential; however, they need to spruce up the place and attract new clientele to survive.

We arrived early.....5:30, but the opening time is listed as 5pm...when we got there we were told the chef was out shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!! that should have been our cue to just leave, but we decided to give it a try.....food was bland, dry overpriced and we had to ask for ice for the canned soda and canned iced teas...we were asked if we spoke spanish, and luckily my girlfriend did. i dont think they are going to last. we were the only ones there for an hour and a half we asked about that and were told they had a latin late nite following. never going back.

I love that in this age of chains there still exists a family run business. The food was great and the service was very personal

  • We had a large group, and
    OpenTable Diner Since 2004

We had a large group, and they clearly were not capable of handling a half full restaurant. I cannot think of a time when I had to wait so long for our orders to be taken, or when food came out so sporadically. Over half the table, patiently waited for everyone to be served, realized their efforts were futile, and still finished their dinner before the final person was served. No drinks were filled, and a member of the table started to go back to the kitchen to get ice for the table himself. The staff was mildly apologetic, but had no interest in doing anything other than make excuses. The food was good, fortunately, but was overpriced, even for the location, and came well short of making up for otherwise unfortunate experience.
