Bob's Steak and Chop House - Omni Tucson National ResortBest In Steak House in TucsonWhat a place, we stated of with the center piece of pickels and peppers, then the bread came with loads of butter!!! We ordered drinks with blue cheese olives and they were great. Dinner was outstanding, the steaks were cooked to perfection, with the center piece huge carrot. I had the fried potatos, wife had a baked potato, both were perfect. One side of creamed spinach and we were happy. Desert was perfect and off we went, full and happy. We will return!!! Make reservations now, you do not want to miss his establishment.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden gem....We have been to hundreds of steakhouses.... Literally. I would put this in the top 20 for food. Ambiance is nice, normal high end steakhouse. Service is great and food is better. Never knew we had such a gem here in the middle of north Tucson.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMthe foodthe filet was a bit dry but the trout special was wonderful. would have preferred martini and rossi vermouth for my manhattan, and didn't much care for the Russian river white wine. our table was in a lovely setting, it was my birthday dinner and I enjoyed the evening.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAn excellent meal. CelebratingAn excellent meal. Celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary, we both ordered large fillet mignon and were not disappointed with the fine quality of the meal as well as with the prompt and attentive service. We'll be back, thank you.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Bob's!Huge steak offerings easily shared by two. High quality and well cooked to requested doneness. Bobs serves the best carrot we have ever eaten! Dined twice during 3 day stay at the Omni. One night had veal chop and next night the rib-eye. Each night the wait staff were very helpful, friendly and informative about menu as well as local Tucson attractions. Expensive but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for and since we shared main course turned out to be really quite reasonable after all.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are locals who had notWe are locals who had not been to Bob's before and had a visitor who wanted top go there. It was very nice, but I would not drive that far to go on a regulare basis. The food was very nice, and the service was indeed very good, but we felt rushed especially on a not very busy midweek night. It was noisy inside, but was loud outside due to a large group, and windy on the veranda, but that is normal for Tucson.I am thinking the prices were quite high, but it is a resort after all,and would only dine there if a special occasion.Being local we have a lot of other choices. It is not a big resturant that I saw,and while in a nice setting I would not rush back.I am glad we tried it though.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were pleasantly surprised. We were pleasantly surprised. I took my 84 year old dad to dinner. It was the first time he has enjoyed steak in Tucson in a long time. A little pricy, but definitely worth it.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb food.
