  • "My wife and I have never been to Bobby ' s . This was our first time. We did happen to make a reservation which was a great udea. We decided to sit up stairs, as there was live music. The food was terrific and the service was superb. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "We had eaten at Bobby's last spring during our annual Scottsdale holiday. We loved it and couldn't wait to return this year. We were not disappointed! It was excellent. Our meals were exceptional and service top notch. It is definitely on our list to return again next visit."

  • "We will be back! Our party of four dined out on the patio; all of us had the 3 course special featuring the filet which was very good. Very enjoyable dining experience with excellent service, food and ambiance."

  • "This is one of our favorate places, we always enjoy ourselves."

  • "There is nothing special I could say about Bobby's food. The Caesar salad was terrible. The meat trio was very mediocre! The only good thing that I could say is our waiter was attentive. Other than that I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "There was a large group sitting in front of us and the servers seemed to care more about them than the two of us. The helpers would go by and casually glance our way but not clear finished dishes or offer more bread. The food was good but the staff seemed stressed rather than happy we were there."

  • "Bobby's is a gem. Food great - service great - atmosphere is diverse depending on which floor you are seated. Make reservations - go have a great dinner and then walk around the neighborhood. You will love it"

  • "Consistently good food served impeccably by friendly servers In a warm and friendly atmosphere accompanied every evening by live smooth jazz, and music that brings back memories. An evening for a quality happy hour or full course dinner, or Sunday brunch at Bobby's is aways a pleasant experience. Always my first choice for a kierland commons dining experience."

  • "Our first visit to Bobby's was, unfortunately, on Valentine's Day. Menu was limited and service was slow since they were so busy. But we look forward to going back and to hearing the music upstairs."

  • "Arrived and was seated at our reservation time upstairs in the bar area where there was live music. Seating was a little tight. We were seated at a table for 2 with a high top table right next to us Waiter was with us pretty quickly and we were served our drinks and ordered our food in a timely manner. When we received our food my side dishes were on his plate and mine on his plate. Noticed that bread baskets were being delivered to tables but we never received any bread. Over all an ok experience. Food was good but small portions. Probably a great place for a get together with friends. Not for Valentine's Day."

  • "The best place to be for awesome atmosphere, food to die for and the wait staff are the best. Came with friends who have severe food allergies and the chef was so accommodating to their needs that their night was even more special because of this outstanding customer service. Five stars does not even begin to say how great a night it was for our group, it 's double that."

  • "Since we have been here before and really enjoyed our time there, last night was different. Took at least 10 minutes to get our drinks ordered. The waiter kept saying he would be right back. (they were not that busy, as there were several empty tables near us) We felt we were being rushed. We always like to have a cocktail and appetizer before we order our dinner. He was in such a rush that we had to stop him and say we both wanted to order an appetizer. The meal was average, not great and not bad. It could have been just the wrong night to go. While we didn't hate our time there, it wasn't the best. Will try again after some time to see if it was just a bad night. Fun restaurant, lively and the escargot was wonderful."

  • "It was the first night of retirement for my wonderful husband! All the staff were outstanding and so very helpful with everything we asked for and anything we needed. The food was so great. Our group enjoyed absolutely everything that we dined on! We all had a great time!!"

  • "Nice, live jazz venue. Good, fun, decor. Food was good, service was a little lacking. Place was busy and our server seemed overwhelmed. Definitely liked the upstairs lounge. Overall, a good find and I will dine there again."

  • "I don't have much to say except for a few small things: 1) The bartender (Christian) seemed to be very overwhelmed. I ordered a filet and he did not ask for a temperature. I realized this and told him afterwards that I would prefer it medium-rare, but he should have asked; 2) We had to ask for bread - I hate this. This is fine dining, we shouldn't have to ask for anything; 3) When my 'filet' arrived, it was not a filet and it was medium-well / well; I'm almost positive it was a top sirloin. I have had the filet here literally 25 times, this was NOT a filet. I sent it back and a medium-rare filet arrived within 5-7 minutes. My companion had paella and it was wonderful. I should also mention that the caesar salad here is the best in town."

  • "We dined at Bobby's on a Monday evening and the restaurant was practically empty. We had an excellent salad and then split a vegetable paella that was good, but not quite authentic. There was live music in the lounge upstairs that was enjoyable."
    Dined on 1/13/2014
  • "We sat in the dining room and enjoyed the music from the lounge above - very nice. Thought the food was good but the fish was overcooked. Veal and beef were excellent. Thought the single pour of call vodka as overpriced as well."

  • "Overall, I like the restaurant, and plan to go back and I have recommended it to foodie friends. Food was great, and the hostess staff was excellent and the waiter was good. I loved the gluten free choices, although there is room for more choices."

  • "We had reservations for New Years Eve, expecting to have dinner and come home and watch the ball drop on TV. We had a great dinner, good wine and some of the best lemon cello cake I have ever had. Decided to go upstairs to see what band or group was playing. Ended up staying till 12:30 and having a great time. We will def go back again, there are several items on the menu that we have to try."

  • "I enjoyed the classy yet fun atmosphere. The food was great. No complaints."

  • "We went here for Christmas dinner. I had the lamb chop which was absolutely the best one I have ever eaten. Husband had the filet Oscar and had the same experience. Daughter had the duck which was also outstanding. She took part of it home next day it was still moist after warming. Desserts were also delicious and were just perfectly proportioned for one. We were all very satisfied with the food and did not leave feeling stuffed. Service was very courteous although it was one of their busiest nights ever. We look forward to going back. Although this was our first visit, it will definitely not be the last."

  • "Being it was Christmas Day we understood it was busy, however the server was rude and seemed to take more time attending to us."
    Dined on 12/25/2013
  • "Waiter definitely had an attitude when we requested a modification which was quite simple. No cheese or bacon on the salad. The salad arrived with the bacon. The waiter didn't care. Presentation was terrible. Food is way overpriced. Never going back. We spoke to the restaurant manager and she said she would make it right the next time we came in. Really? You think you are getting another chance. Not happening. You should have made it right the first time."

  • "Bobby's has upstairs dining with background entertainment and also dining downstairs where the sound of the entertainment fades but still can be heard. We dined downstairs and it was pleasant. The menu features both entrees and small plates with good variety. I ordered caprese which had a strange dressing but it was good. We also ordered butternut squash ravioli and veal meat balls with risotto. All were very good. Unfortunately our server seemed to lose us at the end of the meal, were served lukewarm coffee, and ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for our check. Since it was Christmas Eve, we think it may have been unusual and we will return to enjoy this dining experience."

  • "Fell in love with the décor and ambience. The food was very good with a beautiful presentation. The service was beyond outstanding!"

  • "I had previously enjoyed the lump crab salad with a date in the lounge on two occasions. Quite satisfactory with good music and had a good evening both times. Dinner in the poorly served, overly noisy dining room was terrible. The paella was salty and they split a traditionally shared meal. Sourdough bread was boring...the wait staff ignored us for the first ten minutes....even to get water. Frankly, a waste of an evening. The mysic is drowned out by the echo in the crowded room. Go to the lounge. I tried to book.there but it is first come, first serve, so they told me."

  • "Excellent food and service, especially on a Holiday, is a blessing! Everything from the traditional turkey and ham dinners to the lasagna was fantastic."

  • "Though we went for Thanksgiving, we ordered off the menu and I experienced the best steak I've had in years. Amongst our party were people that had the Chicken parm and chicken Marsala and both were excellent. The mashed sweet potatoes sounded much better than they tasted so I would skip them. Bring your wallet as this place is a little pricey but the food was great!"

  • "We knew nothing about this restaurant before going. What a wonderful surprise! The service was excellent ( Thankyou Marcos!), the decor was beautiful, the live music was just perfect , relaxing and not too loud. But mostly the food was delicious. After cocktails, I had the lobster oscar withwedge salad, hubby had the Mahi-mahi. We enjoyed a bottle of chardonnay with our meal. The deserts were amazing (cinnamon bun & tiramisu). Finished it all off with a cappuccino. Then, we rolled out the door after paying about 150$,tip included! Great price for such a wonderful meal!"

  • "Bobby's food was exceptional. The live music was great and restaraunt decor was well done. Small plates were perfect for my parents who no longer eat as much."

  • "My guests were my 80 year old parents and they were pleased with the great pianist/vocalist as well as the food. The elevator to the second floor made it possible for them to enjoy the supper club atmosphere. I appreciate the house salad with organic greens and the house mustard vinaigrette had a delicious tang I wish I could replicate. Main courses were satisfying with no crazy surprises. Tiramisu a great finish. Thanks to the Skinny Itlian website for the recommendation."

  • "We had a fantastic experience. The service was perfect - attentive but not pushy and always timed just right. While the jazz was in the background upstairs we were able to have a good conversation and it was quiet enough that we could talk easily and hear each other without straining. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. Congratulations! We'll be back!"

  • "Loved the relaxed feel. The upper bar was a great place to celebrate a friend's birthday. Happy Hour is great. The piano player played a wonderful variety of songs. Very big city feel. Ate downstairs in the restaurant and the food was good. Birthday person had the shrimp w pasta that she loved and took half home because it was a generous size. I ordered the Wedge salad which I loved and the Coconut shrimp which I had to send back because it was too rubbery it needed the crunch. Exchanged it for the Crab Tower....a big hit as was the Sweet Potatoe Mash. Yummy!! Fun waiter and very acommodating"

  • "Dining at Bobby's was, without a doubt, one of the most delightful evenings we have ever spent. From the time we were greeted at the door, through a gourmet meal with excellent service, while being entertained by professional musicians, and shown every courtesy possible, it was an experience of a lifetime. The serving staff anticipated our every need and want and were a half step ahead of us throughout the entire evening. There are simply not enough positive adjectives to adequately describe the evening."

  • "Hostesses were super pleasant. Service was outstanding! Wine list was really nice. Bruschetta was fair, bread super crunchy and not notably tasty. Ordered 1 for 4 of us and only 3 mediocre pieces of bruschetta. Ordered a second. Fig salad was plentiful, but figs were sparce. Pasta, seafood and lamb were prepared nicely. No dessert although the dessert tray was lovely to look at. Nice time had by all…."

  • "We were disappointed. We included in our reservation it was our ten-year anniversary. Neither the hostess nor the waiter ever mentioned it. The waiter seemed put out to wait on our table. We arrived at five o'clock and we were the only couple in the restaurant, therefore, I don't see what the issue was, he was not rushed! We felt we got better service from the assistant waiter who filled our water and cleared our table. My husband ordered wine and I did not, but the waiter left my empty wine glass on the table the entire evening. Food was nothing special. Bruchetta was so dry after one bite all the ingredients fell off. Risotto seemed out of a box. No way could it have been slow cooked Italian risotto rice. We would not return."
