will be back.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMabsolute gemthe atmosphere is conducive for special occasations and has a truly remarkable romantic feel to it. You owe it to yourself to at least try it once.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service at Bobby's wasThe service at Bobby's was incredible. We were greeted enthusiastically and were made to feel at home. The upstairs lounge/bar had a great musical trio playing jazz, rock, and easy listening music. In the dining room, the band could still be heard, but did not drown out pleasant dinner conversation. The food was very enjoyable, as well as the drinks.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding restaurantMy sister and I went to this restaurant for my birthday celebration. We were from Los Angeles and decided to visit Arizona for my birthday. The ambiance was beautiful, the food was tasty, and the service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We sat upstairs where the jazz band was playing and singing. It was a relaxing night for us just to eat and listen to the sounds of the beautiful singers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions. I will return when I visit Arizona again.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMNot too bad...The wait staff was kind and professional, recommending a nice bottle of white wine to pair with our dinner. I ordered the special, a seafood trio with scallops and a mango salsa, lobster tail, and shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon. My wife had the scallops from the regular menu. The food was cooked very well. My lobster and scallops were both cooked perfectly. The sides included rice, broccolini, and gorgonzola mashed potatoes. We were not impressed with the sides. They lacked flavor and seemed to be an after thought to the meal.
For dessert, I ordered the tiramisu and I felt the portion was perfect. I'd come back for Happy Hour or if we had a gift certificate, but there are better restaurants at this price.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and quiet atmosphere!I booked a reservation for my husband's birthday and the food we ordered (the Lobster Tail) was amazing!! The restaurant was not crowded (for a Friday night) and there was nice live jazz playing in the upper level of the restaurant. The service was amazing and we even received a complimentary birthday dessert with a candle. The drinks are a bit watered down and pricey but overall a very nice time.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMBobby's restaurant is in aBobby's restaurant is in a great location in Keirland Commons. Its decor is very sophisticated; however, the dining table upstairs are too close together.
Its policy of having happy hour prices only in the lounge area, especially when the party will be having a regular dinner is foolish. You should be able to combine the lower prices of drinks and appetizers with the above average prices of entrees.
The entrees we had included veal marsala, shrimp scampi, lobster ravioli and the hamburger. We all enjoyed our entrees, although I think the spinach and broccolini sides had too much butter.
Service was very attentive.
Ask for table downstairs if you want a more quiet dining experience, since the upstairs is louder due to live music.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ambience, but franklyGreat ambience, but frankly little else of note. To be fair we where there for happy hour and only had beer and a bunch of appetizers, but the appetizers where pretty moderate.
The waitress was unknowledgable, the happy hour drink selection was very limited, and the kitchen lost our ticket, though the manager did make that right so it wasn't too bad4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, friendly greetingGreat food, friendly greeting at the door, excellent menu and very enjoyable live music. Bobby's is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMCool PlaceThe music was not the type of Jazz we had hoped for but it was still nice. The only issue we had was the lack of service and attitude from the waitress once she made her way back to the table. Overall a good experience. Great Food and drinks.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWas like returning to whatWas like returning to what a good Italian restaurant used to be in Phoenix.

Old and great friends4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to eatGreat night out. Excellent food and service. Lucky find3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a first date,Great place for a first date, if you're in North Scottsdale / Phoenix3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere, food needs helpThe atmosphere was very nice. The music was nice. I did enjoy myself. The quality of the food could be better. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and I had to return it. It was too watery, I think the pasta was not drained properly, and the sauce had no flavor at all. I was brought wild rice instead and it was bland. The Cajun style salmon was very yummy! regarding the rest of the food, I just wish it had some flavor and was not watery. The waitress was very good. She was nice and attentive, I forget her name but she had a thick accent. She was very good. The atmosphere was nice, but the food I was not up to par.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe'll be backDelish pasta . Love the meatball appetizer w/ risotto.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe wine list was superb andThe wine list was superb and extensive; the food was promptly prepared, classically elegant, well plated, and tasted fantastic; live music from 6p-10p really made the atmosphere perfect for a romantic night out. The waitstaff was extremely courteous and attentive. All together a five-star experience.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI was expecting somethingI was expecting something more on New Year's eve. The food was OK but nothing very creative, the Jazz band seemed to spend more time taking breaks than playing.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AM
