More expensive than before
Busy from 630 onwards but had mostly emptied out by 9:30 pm12/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBoat house a winner as usual!My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from Quebec city which has amazing restaurants....They were very impressed with the menu, the food, the wine selection, the exceptional service and the amazing view....They will be back ...and of course in our case we will keep coming back regularly since it is one of our very favorite restaurant in White Rock! The food was fantastic. Everybody enjoyed their choices. The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and happy. What truly made this over the top special though was our server!! . Everything was done right from the booking that I did on here. The only problem we had and it wasnt the restaurant, but another group of guests. They had a screaming young child, the parents didnt bother to try and do anything about the child either which ruined our evening. At one point my girlfriend asked the child to shush and the parents promptly took the child away only to have the husband come back and verbally attack my girlfriend. Even the waiter was upset by the mans actions.
Due to these people we didnt have the best time but the staff at the boathouse were great!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
