If you're looking for a good steak and tasty shrimp, you've made the right choice, though the other seafood options are fine as well.
It's a good choice to introduce youth/children to a more formal dining experience. We've been bringing our kids (now 16 and 14) since they were 10 and 8. The kid's menu remains true to The Boathouse's seafood theme, including among the usual options a salmon-and-fries combo that can help expand an adventureous young palate.
Crowd noise, while not boisterous, doesn't make for a particularly sedate experience. However, The Boathouse's reputation for seafood and their central location mean they'll be popular for years to come.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
