We were hoping for a table by the window but I hadn't reserved far enough in advance. No big deal. We were mostly there for the great meal and we weren't disappointed. I had the Steelhead (always my favourite) and hubby had the Maple Glazed Salmon. The rice was weird - too perfumy for him and he doesn't like broccolini. We often expect a high level of service from a restaurant of this calibre, however, are often surprised that we do NOT receive it...The Boathouse New West did not disappoint! We really appreciated that we were seated in the main area of the restaurant and after about 5 minutes we were approached to move as a more scenic table just opened up. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious - the bread was warm, our appetizers were served in a timely manner and our main course was cooked to perfection.
