we'll be back. We especially appreciated how the chef was not afraid of vegetables - in season vegetables. They were used creatively and deliciously prepared. It's so rare anymore to find a restaurant where the veggies are as outstanding as the fish - and it was the case here. It really completed the meal for us!

We go to Blue Fin usually for the fish. It is consistently fresh and well prepared. We try to go the nights Jeff works. His service and attention to detail is outstanding and usually not found in Tucson. We always have a great meal and good service. It is our favorite restaurant. Sharon Tyson

we are from Massachusettes & we love our seafood. It is rare to go to a restaurant out here and get a properly cooked lobster. Our's was perfect. We were greeted warmly, and everyone from waitress to bus boys werevery attentive & polite. Every one of them made a point of wishing us a happy Anniversary. They made us feel comfortable, welcome & special. We will definately be going back there.

Service was outstanding from being greeted when we entered, moving on to the busboys and waitstaff(which even included one of the owner's helping out by bringing us our appetizers as the restaurant became busy at Father's Day Brunch) and finishing up with a personal query as to how we enjoyed the food as we exited. By the way, the food was excellent as well!! We have dined at Bluefin about five times in a two year period and have found the food and service to be very consistent. • This is not the first time
    OpenTable Diner Since 2005
    Dined on 5/28/2008
This is not the first time we have eaten at Bluefin. But it might be the last. Though we arrived on time for our reservation, we were made to wait for the maitre'd to complete his cell phone call before we were seated. We noted that it was our anniversary dinner on the Open Table reservation, but no mention was made of it by the staff. We were seated in a small corner booth with no view. It was not crowded. I asked to be reseated near a window so we could enjoy the mountain view. The attention by the staff to our reason for choosing this restaurant was lacking (anniversary). I don't think we will be in a hurry to return, despite the overall rating we gave it (food & bus svc were great). I'd like you to pass this along to mgmt

It was out second visit, the first was much better. It's supposed to be just slightly upscale, but this time we had 4 late teens with the backwards ballcaps, cut-offs and loud talking, text messaging, sitting near us in the upstairs dining room. We were there for an anniversary dinner and it was pretty much ruined with their antics. We were surprised that they allowed it. We should've gone to tgi fridays, we could have had the same thing and paid a lot less than 130.00

    Dined on 5/11/2008
For some reason I keep going back and I think the main reason is the menu variety that is ever-changing. The last two visits we wer esat at a table that was unstable. Each time it was remedied, but you would think that it would have been tested an fixed prior. My wife ordered the 1 lb lobster and had to send it back and ordered crab cakes instead. The lobster was undercooked. I had the halibut which was very good, but a much smaller portion than I had expected. Our server was very caring and understanding. I am sure I will return.

I found the food quite delicious. The environment is great. It has a sense of class yet laid back dining. The candle lit upstairs is great for a romantic night while the downstairs bar is entertaining and exciting. Upstairs the noise level is not too low but not too high. It creates an environment in which you can talk at a normal voice level and not feel rude or too loud. Overall, I give blue fin two thumbs up. It was great and I will be dining there again.
