Blueacre SeafoodA great treatService was excellent. Copper River Salmon was wonderful. Portions were large. A bit pricey.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMCraving seafoodBlue acre gave me exactly what I was looking for, delicious seafood. We will come back again... Enjoyed the trout, sole, and oysters, and also like that they update their menu daily.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat selection, good prices..and attentive service. Next time we'll try it for dinner.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrificly prepared fresh seafoodWhen in Seattle you want to do fresh seafood, and this place is one of the best of the breed.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Salmon with the port-soakedThe Salmon with the port-soaked cherries was as good as the first time I ate it years ago. We keep coming back for this, among other favorites!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBest seafood in SeattleI have been to Blueacre twice in the the last few months. The ambience is good but I would choose another setting for a special occasion or romantic dinner. The table next to us had young children in the party and they were eating grilled cheese sandwiches, which I am pretty sure were not on the menu, but speaks to kid-friendly and above and beyond working with customers and special menu needs. Prices are fairly high, but it is downtown and they do offer a 'prix fixe' menu. All that being said, it is a fun, upscale, lively place with excellent service and without a doubt the best cooked seafood I have eaten in Seattle.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat MealThe Halibut was excellent and there wine list outstanding...4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest food I've ever had.Best food I've ever had. Went with 3 friends, no one could make ONE decision so all ordered entrees and sides to share. All meals (salmon, halibut, fish & chips, ling cod) and sides (mac & cheese, collard greens) were amazing. HIGHLY recommend.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMLike oysters? Had the Restaurant Week menu, and each one of the 3 courses -- did I already say sublime -- Crab cake, artichoke-crusted ling cod with harissa drizzle??!-- chocolate pecan pie. Sigh. Attentive, perfect service.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPeople there are super nice,People there are super nice, and the seafood's awesome! The Location is very convenient too. Great lunch menu, selections were nice, presentation was awesome! Very friendly staff, from hosts to server- attentive and gracious. Will return.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good service, excellentVery good service, excellent food and a very hospitable owner I have never been dissappointed4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe met friends at BlueacreWe met friends at Blueacre before seeing a show. Our waiter was very attentive and asked whether we were seeing a show so that he could get us out in time. My husband had a special request (appetizer portion of the fabulous pea ravioli), which the kitchen accommodated. The menu is huge (perhaps too huge) and it took a while for us to decide. Regardless, our waiter got us through three courses well in time for us to get to our show without making us feel rushed. Finally, our waiter caught a mistake I made when I added the tip onto the bill and changed it appropriately. The food was delicious, but was made even better by the great service. We look forward to returning soon.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to Blueacre Seafood and we were welcomed by the owner/chef - Kevin. He took time to give us a quick overview of the restaurant/menu and a sample of delicious oysters. Would highly recommend dinner and a glass of wine!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Salmon was dry but everythingThe Salmon was dry but everything else was amazing!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is amazing. We stayed for two hours, never felt rushed. Would return.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the seafoodWe discovered Blueacre on a recent trip to Seattle due to the restaurant's participation in "Dine Around Seattle". We started in the lounge before our reservation as we'd read good reviews about the service and ambiance. We had excellent service and good recommendations from the server.
While dining, our party of three all chose items on the three course menu offered for the special. Presentation and taste were great. The setting was modern, service every good there was lots of space and several booths. This is a restaurant we would return to again.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA delicious meal once againI've been to Blueacre several times. This time around service started out slow, to the point we finally asked where our server was. However, she definitely made up for it. She even surprised us with a little amuse bouche that was very delicious. From the point of her taking our order through the end of our meal, the experience was great and our food was delicious. I'm sure I'll be back.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMEven on the Dine-Around menu,Even on the Dine-Around menu, this place shone. Great choices, all delicious and beautifully presented. Our attentive waiter, Neal, was a star. All around, a great choice.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMost definitely we will goMost definitely we will go back to Blueacre more often.3/18/2013 12:00:00 AMManager (bruce?) was a greatManager (bruce?) was a great host... Will definitely return!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for seafoodBlueacre is one of the best fish restaurants in Seattle. The service is great and there is a big parking garage around the corner that never has anyone in it in the evenings. You can get your ticket validated for a discount. Check the daily menu out online. I don't drink, but their iced tea is really nice. Which is a plus for non-alcohol drinkers.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceWent for an early dinner for dine around seattle. Crab cake was outstanding as was the artichoke encrusted fish and pecan pie. Service was terrific with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. She noted without even an ask that the music was loud and offered to lower the volume. The wine by the glass list was very reasonable and the restaurant offered 1/2 bottles of some premium wines-first time I have seen that in awhile. My only disappointment was that Blueacre could not accommodate my request for window seating-large party due in later that evening and space reserved. Will definitely go back and recommend it to friends.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasantly surprised with portionsI enjoyed the Dine Round Seattle lunch option and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions. I have tried the DAS option at other restaurants and found portions to be much smaller and leave with a slightly less feeling of fulfillment.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSuper friendly staff - thanksSuper friendly staff - thanks for a great birthday lunch with my pals!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFoodies MUST visit!Fabulous food. Great unobtrusive service. The dine around Seattle menu is outstanding value. I can't wait to go back.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLadies' Night Dinner at BlueacreMy girlfriends and I have a "Ladies' Night" dinner every once in awhile and this time we chose Blueacre Seafood - and what a great, great choice it was!
I had mentioned in my reservation that it was a "Ladies' Dinner" and they had reserved a private dinning area, so awesome!! Made us feel a special and we could be a little bit louder than normal.
The service was amazing from when you walk in to meet the hostess, and our own server! So great! He made awesome recommendations and even let us have a few free goodies. :)
The food was AMAZING! Love the fact that they have seafood delivered EVERY DAY! You can definitely taste it in each dish, and the oysters - so good.
I will definitely be back to Blueacre!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMdelicious fareI have been to Blue Acre several times since moving to Seattle and keep going back to share this gem with others. Consistently delectable cuisine is sure to be waiting for you at your next visit!3/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBest downtown restaurantThis restaurant is always great. The food is fresh and expertly prepared. The ambiance is lovely. If you are an oyster fan, the oyster bar is amazing. You can take people you want to impress here and splurge, or you can eat economically because all year round they have a $15 - 3 course lunch and a $30 - 3 course dinner.3/1/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent!
