  • "This was probably not the best meal I've ever had but it was still good. I ordered the crabcakes and had oysters as an appetizer. The food was fresh with a good taste, but overall I thought the food was either too plain or too salty. We had a great, knowledgeable, attentive waitress though!"

  • "The trout was one of the best grilled trout I have eaten, but it was very heavy on the sauce. I asked for it simply grilled with no sauce and my veggies were drowning. The squash and onions were tender crisp, but again, I had to ask for a clean plate to extricate the food from the sauce. If the chef decides to put a sauce on my plate, I should be asked, and it should not be assumed that I want it."

  • "I took my father here for fathers day. He is a HUGE seafood lover, so I wanted to take him to a place he nor I had been. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The shrimp was over cooked. After the meal I wish I had taken him to Blue Claw instead of trying a new place. But, I would go back again."

  • "In short the food was mediocre, the service was horrible and the restaurant ambiance was dull. It took 10 minutes for our waiter to come over for our drink order. Another 20 minutes to receive our drinks. The waiter was not familiar with the menu and could not answer basic questions about food preparation. I started with raw oysters..they were pretty good. My husband had a cup of the seafood chowder-but there was zero seafood in his bowl- it was more like tomato soup. We shared a crab cake-it was greasy. Moving on the entrees I had the grill scallops and my husband had the grilled Chilean sea bass both were just ok- what you would expect from Red Lobster. We wont be going back to this restaurant nor recommending this place to friends."

  • "1st time there, and a good experience. Saturday night and less full than expected, but 3 of 4 diners were very happy with the meal. 2 of our party are hard of hearing and live entertainment, although very good, made conversation difficult for them. Perhaps the hostess should ask about alternate seating seeing over 55ers. I can recommend the salmon, butternut squash ravioli with maple-burbon and pecan sauce! Yum! My spouse had the linguini with over-cooked shrimp, and when he asked for cheese got a tiny cup of Kraft, not a good, grated at the table brand. Good ambiance, ok service. Perhaps a little more info from the server before taking orders would steer one towards the diner's most successful choice. I would return."

  • "With fewer places to go to for seafood..... Red L, Legal Sf, McCormick, etc. There are a couple, as mentioned but they are not as personalized as Blue20. The restaurant does not have a chain feel what so ever. It has a personality and mixes seafood nicely with Italian cuisine. We liked it because we were able to eat healthy and enjoyed plenty of taste."

  • "We had a group of 7 for dinner on a Thursday evening. The place was not crowded, so it was very quiet. Our waitress was great. She was very helpful with our food selections was was very friendly. Each of our dinners were delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was amazing. We will definitely be going back. "

  • "We have been to B2O many times. While this visit was not up to par, it was not bad. just disappointing by comparison. Am a little baffled by the service. It was not busy but servers not attentive. pepper mill not brought with the salads. Asked for it and took awhile for it to arrive. Asked why they did not bring it as a matter of course? Server said---"not our policy" This is not a hash house but an upscale restaurant. Entrees mostly got from low $20s to low $30s. Almost all top notch restaurants, bring peppermill with the salads. My vegetables were oily--spouse's were fine. Crab cakes tasty. sirachi shrimp good but a little hot. All that said--we will be back, generally a decent value and usually service better than tonite. "

"Blackened" fish was more burnt than blackened, clam chowder was tasteless - great texture but no taste. Chicken was undercooked the first time and overcooked the second. Good wine by the glass but food needs a serious improvement."

  • "A friend and I went to Blue 20 and had a great date night. Our server was Michael and he was very helpful and attentive to us. He explained all of the specials and gave us some recommendations for appetizers and then gave us a moment to decide. He checked with us during our meal to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves. During our meal a jazz band started playing which was very enjoyable. At the end of our meal Michael made suggestions for dessert and helped us to choose. Overall, we had an outstanding dining experience and Michael was a big help. "

  • "1st time visitors. Food was good! Salad dressing on the house salad was original and delicious. Oysters were really fresh and tasty. We all ordered from the "Fresh Grill" section - entrees were wonderful. 3 out of our party of 4 received our entrees - waited almost 10 minutes for our 4th person to receive their food. Had to ask 2 people to check. Presentation was excellent. Service was fair, at best. While we did not think Blue 2 0 was overpriced, we certainly expected better service for the $ we WERE paying. Very inattentive-and absent. There are other restaurants, comparable in price and menu, where the service is significantly better. Overall, we would try it again - food and ambiance were good. Maybe next time service will be better..."

  • "The ambience was great and our servicer was really good. I ordered the Bouillabaisse, it was bland. It was a great mix of seafood but no flavor. If this dish were in a better sauce, it would have been excellent. This is a great spot to take a date for dinner. Just stay away from the Bouillabaisse. "

We over killed with appetizers all of which were pretty good especially the sriracha shrimp and calamari, so we didn't get to try the desserts which we were looking forward to. Each of our entrees were good. I had the BBQ sea bass, one friend had the steak and cake and the other friend had crab crusted tilapia. The waitress was helpful and pleasant. Oh and our drinks were good too. I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri & piña colada mixed (Yum!), one friend had the spiked Arnold Palmer and the other friend had a red sangria. They both said they were good. All in all it was a good night. Next time I'll be trying the jerk mahi mahi. So yes I'll be back and I do recommend. No downsides & no exceptional points."

Then it came to me to suggest Blue2o- neither of them had ever been there before. They Loved It! They are already planning to go back again."

  • "This was my second time dining here and as usual everything was excellent. The first time, I came with my sisters and we enjoyed the live jazz band, wine special, and delicious food. This time I returned with my husband for our "date night". He loved the food (being an avid seafood lover), drinks, and overall atmosphere. We will definitely return to try more menu items. The live jazz band is also very welcoming. The pricing is average for a seafood restaurant. Overall we had an excellent experience and I have already told friends they must experience this for themselves."

  • "I ask for a quiet table in a corner when making the reservation and was directed to an open table near the door. So much for special requests when making the reservation. I asked to be moved and we sat in the small pod-like booth in the corner which was very nice. After ten minutes (no kidding) I had to go to the person who sat us and ask for a server to come bye and acknowledge our presence - really! Susan did a wonderful job once she was assigned to our table."
