We had arrived at 3:00pm so the dinner menu was not yet available. The waiter did check and he indicated that they could accommodate the request for a steak.
You may want to offer another one or two options for those individuals who do not eat seafood. This can be a challenge because my mom has many dietary issues and preferences. None of that was a challenge here. Blue Water Grill was lovely. The space is ambient and beautiful for a special occasion and the menu is varied. You can go totally decadent and order oysters and caviar or keep it simple with a lobster/shrimp roll.
The big stand out here is the top-notch staff and servers. Our server was so witty and lovely with us that my mother and her friend kept talking about taking him home.They were smitten. He made them feel special while visiting. It really set the tone for the whole day.

The place was very busy but we were not rushed at all. Fried calamari was the best I ever tasted and I have tasted a lot! Oysters were outstanding! We sat in the upper level which to me is the place to be. Blue Water Grill was recommended to me by a few people. Drinks were on point food was delicious, especially the appetizers. You have to try the lobster and shrimp springs rolls. Well, that's Friday night for ya. We got a table for two downstairs right next to the jazz band which actually worked out for the best. Watching those guys play was amazing and enhanced the whole dining experience for us.
The food was delicious beyond words, and that goes for both seafood and steak. Probably the best steak I've tried in a mostly seafood restaurant (not a Steakhouse).

Food was very good. Our table was good(not always so I find with OT), atmosphere was great, former bank building has a lot of character and the live jazz is nice touch. If you are looking for quiet, this is not your place. Nice indoor and outdoor seating.
My only issues were that I ordered a vodka tonic and it was not good, being the polite MW I am I did not ask for another and our food came out too fast-before we could order our wine. I blame myself however, because I have yet to find more than a few restaurants that have decent tonic water. I don't know why, but it's true. I should know better.

Get there early though if you want a table outside. they are first come first serve.

I hosted a Japanese family who spoke very little English. Blue Water had a terrific menu which enabled me to satisfy everyone's palate. We were seated upstairs and in all my visits to Blue Water, this was a first for me. The architectural detail of the ceiling up close is just amazing. I had asked to be seated in a place where we had some room and less noise so this was perfect. They enjoyed the food and ambience and told me often throughout the meal how good it was. The loved the desert tower too. As a matter of fact our first date was here! Everything about the eating experience here is amazing - great and fresh food (especially their lobster - get some!), cool ambiance (used to be a former bank and they kept a lot of the old furnishings), and wonderful service.
The menu is heavy on seafood so keep that in mind but they have awesome non-fish dishes as well.
