It's also ideal if you just want to take someone out and impress them. Great music (sometimes loud, you might ask for a table further away from the stage if you plan on having conversation.) The Fried Soft Shell Crab Maki Roll was crispy and tasty. My blackened sword fish was moist and spicy without being overwhelming. It was laid over a bed of sweet potato and crab meat hash. Yum, just delish. The chocolate lava cake was perfect (nothing like those frozen ones you get in those chain restaurants).

My cousin absolutely enjoyed the grilled salmon. The service was very good - the waiter was very friendly and helpful with our dinner selections.
I particularly liked the relaxed feeling and the ample spacing between the tables. The band was good. Service was superb, and the ambiance was energetic, friendly and yet we had privacy to talk. There was enough variety in the menu that everyone got a entree they could love. They had an activity sheet and crayons for our kids. The kids also loved the live music as did we. We had the Spicy Tuna roll which was delicious as well as the eggs Benedict with lobster and shrimp. I was slightly disappointed by the "Jazz" in the Jazz Room. AS a Jazz enthusiast and seasoned listener , the music was disappointing. It was pleasant, good quality and well mixed for the restaurant scene but I felt that it was advertised as a higher level Jazz experience than it actually is. Instead, it is more like enjoyable background dinner music rather than the highlight or focus.
