The dinig room had long tables that were suitable for group dining, presumably to give it more of an izakaya feeling. I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed fresh and creative appetizers, sashimi and sushi. The wine list by the glass was short but well selected. The music was a tad too loud, but i could carry on a conversation with my dining companion. But the omakase was the best I've had, and was better than many of the more well known sushi restaurants in the city. We also got the Oxtail Bone Marrow fried rice because people were raving about it on yelp, and it was definitely worth it. One of my best meals in nyc!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place! Service is too notch, friendly waiters who are courteous, not afraid to share their opinions and insights into dishes and refilling drinks with a smile or asking if we'd like to order more from their buffet brunch - I didn't notice until about an hour in that my OJ glass was still full. Brunch was a combination if self service from the buffet which included general, decent sushi but not as spectacular as in their sushi branch with a delectable selection of mini viennoisorie.
