We enjoyed it so much the first night that I cancelled my reservation at Gordon Ramsey Steak to celebrate my birthday here instead. Did the cosmo platter, fried chicken, and oxtail fried rice the first night...fantastic. Did the Blue Ribbon platter and wings for my birthday...even better! I also want to mention that on the first night we were basically taken care of by the manager the whole time and he was awesome! This is a restaurant we hit up everytime we're in Vegas. If you have a few people that don't enjoy sushi, this is the place. There is something on the menu for all to enjoy. Food was very good. Our waiter, Doug was excellent! Signature dish for me every year when I visit Vegas is the Fried Chicken - yes, thats right in a Sushi place! You just have to try it out! The Cosmo platter is a great starter, and the Blue Ribbon fried chicken is delicious. Oxtail fried rice is another favorite, but they need to bring back the squid ink fried rice with uni! Drinks are yummy, servers are attentive, and the restaurant has a very cool vibe. The menu is pricey, but it's worth it. We were not disappointed, it was amazing! We had the Miso Cod app, several different rolls, the yellow tail and pork shumai which were amazing. However, it sounds weird to say about a sushi restaurant but the highlight of the meal were the wings, the wasabi honey dipping sauce was to die for.
The service was outstanding, I mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us was a delicious brownie.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a treat....I walked inWhat a treat....I walked in for my dinner reservation Sunday night. Everyone from the hostess and server greeted me with a pleasant and friendly manner. There was a few seats at the sushi bar so we took them. I ordered six slices of sashimi which were really big fresh pieces of the best salmon, tuna and yellowtail you will have. And the sushi chef plated it to perfection! All three sushi chefs were so friendly and funny they made the dinner that more enjoyable. I think my favorite item was the Bread Pudding which is by far the best bread pudding ive ever had. I mean it sounds like im getting paid for this but its just the truth. Love this place and will be coming back soon....3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe wanted an authentic sushiWe wanted an authentic sushi restaurant to stumble on in Vegas and we found it! :) We loved the food, the service from our waiter was great, and if we lived in Vegas we'd be back every week. It was a bit pricey... but that's to be expected with the quality of the food. Nice touch that we could sample some of the wine before committing to a bottle.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLoooovvve the Fried ChickenWhen someone told me that I HAD to try the fried chicken at this sushi restaurant, I thought they were pulling my leg. I was even more skeptical when I found out that the sushi place was in a Las Vegas casino (Cosmopolitan).
Boy was I wrong. The chicken was crunchy, not soggy and it had a bit of a kick. In fact it was so good that I came back two nights later rather than try another top rated restaurant.
