Been coming here for years ... first time I was disappointed. Had to wait 20 minutes for table even though we had a reservation. Waiter tired to stick me with someone else's drink tab .... over $50 ... very annoying. I caught it when I was going over the charges on my bill. Never got a salad that was ordered ..... We will be back ..... but not for a while

Drinks: wife ordered Vodka Tonic, got a vodka COKE; was replaced easily and pleasantly. Appetizers: Ordered Salt & pepper Calamari; WAY too salty. Also got a shrimp appetizer and it was 1 of only 2 good dish we had. MAIN COURSE: Grilled salmon & potatoes; overcooked and flavorless; the potatoes that came with the shrimp dish were much better than the ones with the salmon. Wife ordered Ahi Tuna, said it was not very good, she also ordered lobster bisque that she said was good and had large pieces of lobster in it. Overall disappointed, the smallest portions of our meal were the best parts. Waitress was an older woman, she was pleasant and helpful but not the over the top services you expect when spending over $150 on dinner for 2.

On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give Blue Point a try. It did not dissapoint. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was casual, but formal enough to have a high end feel. And the food...terrific. I have a love-hate relationship with scallops. When cooked correctly, I love them. And this was LOVE. The grilled scallops were some of the best I have had. Period. The ONLY negative is there are not many options for people who don't like seafood. I think they could expand that portion of their menu a bit. Bottom line: If you are looking for a great seafood experience that is not on either coast, I am comfortable in saying the Blue Point is well worth the time and the price for a great seafood experience.

Sat at the bar as my choice to have my dinner when I am solo. Another warm welcome from the door staff through to the bartenders. I decided tonight to enjoy the entre special after having some wonderful oysters. The special was boneless pork chops with diced apple and a lovely sauce. This was an excellant meal. The wine was great as always and the bar staff are da bomb!! Thanks everyone

I hate going out to "fine Dinning" establishments and paying top dollar for mediocre food and sup-par service. I NEVER FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT BLUE POINT. The food was outstanding from the salad to dessert. Service was as expected, everyone from the busboys to the Maître d' we very attentive but not intrusive. This will always be one of my top choices for great food.

We were here for an anniversary celebration. All in all we had a great time. The cocktails and most of the food was very good except for the oysters Rockefeller oysters themselves were very plump but the seasoning and topping was awful. Absolutely no taste and very dry. I would not order them again unless the recipe is changed. I've seen recipes for them and these tasted nothing like it. I ordered lobster bolognese and my husband had walleye both of which were very good. The calamari was also very good. Please do something to improve the oysters Thank you.

We just went to dinner at the Blue Pointe Grille this past Saturday. Emily was a fantastic, professional and knowledgeable waitperson. My wife's Walleye was as good as we have ever had anywhere. I had a really great cocktail "Treuse or Dare". It was quite good as well as original. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys quality seafood, served professionally in a pleasant atmosphere.

We celebrated our anniversary at Blue Point Grille. It was a perfect evening, from the exceptional friendly staff at the front desk and the service to the delicious food and drinks. We started with cocktails, had oysters (best ever!) and sashimi as appetizer, grouper and tuna as entree, and we closed our dinner with cheese selection and ice wine. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Our table was on the second floor, overlooking the restaurant which made the evening even more special. Thanks to the entire Blue Point Grill team for supplementing our 3rd anniversary with such an outstanding dining experience!

I had a disturbing experience on my last visit to Blue Point Grille. When I commented to one of the managers about our long wait to be seated, even after having a reservation, he was very rude and flippant in his response to my feedback. It wasn't the type of interaction to feedback, that he asked for, that would be expected at a restaurant of that caliber.

We have frequented Blue Pointe Grill several times and have always enjoyed the quality of the food preparation until now. The lobster and shrimp were overcooked, the butter sauce was extremely limited causing the lobster to also be dry. (It is usually drizzled over the tail). The service was still excellent, but the food was not.

Ate here our last night in Cleveland on recommendation from our hotel. Seated promptly. Hostess was not particularly friendly. Had the Nags Head grouper. Good but nothing special. Portions of everything but the wine were adequate. Server, Kim, was good until she had to serve a large party upstairs. Then the service got a little slow. Actually had to wave another server down to get coffee. Was it worth $140? Probably not

Thai restaurant takes you away from the crowded, noisy places you see so often in the trendy food world. The waitstaff is very attentive, the room is spacious with high ceilings and room between tables. Perfect service! My good was good, not amazing. My biggest gripe was the bouillabaisse - it was too salty and while the presentation was lovely with lobster still attached to the shell, it made for messy eating and I got the very beautiful broth on my blouse. Everyone else's meals were enjoyed, though, including the crab cakes, signature halibut, and steak. Our waiter was great, brought us complementary creams brûlée, and seemed to know the wine list well. Salads were yummy and well dressed, lobster bisque very nice, aps forgettable.

Oysters were great, duck confit hush puppies were good but downhill after that. Salad was swimming in dressing; grouper dinner was not so great- spinach bland and lobster mashed potatoes bland and hard; Creme brûlée burnt and accompanying Madeleine was hard and floury. We were not impressed and I was surprised because it was highly recommended by friends who know their food. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. Service was great though.

My dining experience here was great. I ordered the Nags Head Grouper w/ Lobster Mashed Potatoes. I also ordered a cocktail - Jade [something] - that very tasty too. My waitress was very attentive and polite, and made sure that my guest and I were well taken care of. The view from my seat on the main dining floor behind the huge floor to ceiling windows was cool as well. Especially since the Terminal Tower ended up putting on a nice light show. Overall the evening was enjoyable! Thanks Blue Point Grille.
