Blue Morel fka CopelandMother's DayWent for the first time on Mother's Day. I didn't expect much due to the holiday. Food was great, wine list was good. We were not rushed during our meal, which often happens on these typesof holidays. We will return for a non-holiday experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBlue Morel consistently Delivers! This was our third time at Blue Morel and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal each time we were there. The room is large and roomy so that you really have plenty of space without feeling that the tables are on top of each other. The menu has interesting and diverse choices, and all of the people in my group loved their dishes. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our needs--the service was excellent!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to eat out. AllGreat place to eat out. All the dishes were excellent, and great to see local Long Valley cheese on offer.
Only downside was slightly long period to be asked for drinks after being seated, and then have this compounded by being served a glass of prosecco that was flat - it wasn't that busy that server didn't have time to notice this.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMVery friendly atmosphere.Very friendly atmosphere. We dined next to total strangers who became friends before the evening was over.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was great except on SundayIt was great except on Sunday evening the menu is Limited.
Would have preferred to dine on an evening with a full menu.
All-in-all the experience was very good.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday BrunchNice brunch spot, overpriced though and limited selections. Servers were very friendly and helpful.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBlue Morel Exceeds ExpectationsBlue Morel has a diverse and creative menu that combines many culinary influences into unique and delicious dishes. Wine list is excellent, but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. They also offer a menu of specialty cocktails. The private dining room looks very inviting. Definitely a new addition to the favorite list.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat As UsualGreat as usual. The menu was eclectic and interesting. The seafood prepared wonderfully. Pasta unique and tasty. The service matched the food. Been there several times before and was never disappointed. Will be back again.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMTasty and Fresh SeafoodOur dinner at Blue Morel was most enjoyable serving some of the freshest and tastiest seafood I have ever had. The restaurant hosts a moderate upscale decor allows for casual and dessier atire. The dining room is split in levels that allowed for intimate conversation and dining. Our waiter was Fabian and he was most friendly and attentive and was most knowledgable of the entire menu. For starters we had two rolls from the Sushi menu and added the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare both were outstanding. Notable entrees were the Swordfish and the jumbo lump crabcakes. Both were well portioned and cooked to perfection. For closers we had a selection of cheeses and some of the special Kona Coffee. This restaurant is a keeper and plan frequent returns.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFor a special occasion, thisFor a special occasion, this is one of the best restaurants to choose. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the food is scintillating, vibrant and interesting, and the space is such that despite a full restaurant, you can have a quiet, normal conversation. We will be back!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMI had a business lunch atI had a business lunch at Blue Morel. From the first greeting, the experience was excellent. Service was professional. The food was served quickly and every dish was attractive and prepared well. We had five people and five different entrees and everyone was pleased with their choice. It was very easy to have a business conversation as the noise level was very subdued. I'd definitely have a business lunch or dinner there again.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHaving had 20+ dines at thisHaving had 20+ dines at this inviting restaurant over the past 8 years, we continue to be impressed with the consistency of the kitchen in serving inventive items, handsomely presented, by an informed and friendly staff. We typically stop off prior to a weekend in Manhattan, and have always felt that this hotel facility can hold its own against virtually any of the fine places at which we spoil ourselves in the Big Apple. A recent renovation has slightly lightened up the tone (and changed the name), rendering the atmosphere a touch less formal, but this is still an elegant venue, suitable for any special occasion, or just a nice dinner.2/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
