  • "We've been to this restaurant twice. The first time was amazing. We were informed, on that first visit, that they have an amazing choc soufflé which had to be ordered in the beginning of our meal as it took at least an hour to make. We did and it was truly amazing. The most recent visit was less informative, food was good but presentation was looked rushed, some parts were overcooked and surprisingly the service was slow. When offered dessert, I was thinking soufflé and when asked, the waiter said "oh yea! That should have been ordered before dinner." Disappointing. I still luv the views and the atmosphere of the restaurant and it may have been an "off" night for the visit. We're gonna go back and try again because the food truly is amazing"

  • "We had reservations for late dining. We were greeted and seated immediately. The service and food was outstanding. I don't recall ever having a bad experience at this location. I always try something new and tonight was no different. We were NOT disappointed at all. They brought the climate control covering down to help to eliminate the humidity. This was a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait to go back."

  • "The brunch at Blue Moon Fish Co. is just ridiculous with the number of items they have available. My head was spinning. Lamb chops, crab, oysters, gumbo, tons of salads, cheeses, sushi, chocolate fondue and tons more not to mention the made to order crab cakes. And bottomless champagne, bloody mary's and mimosas. The price is VERY affordable...... Its AMAZING."

The souffle is a must, but order it with your meal as it requires prep time. I eat at Blue Moon when they run a Groupon special and I just love eating there. I wholeheartedly recommend."

These Chefs put out; different, delicious, unique combinations of ingredients that accents the fresh seafood. Very impressive. A must return to try different menu items."

  • "Disappointing. It did not live up to the reputation. Food was not hot. Felt like the chefs were trying to upstage the main ingredient, the fish. Way too complex and it failed. Key lime pie was way too sweet and more of a cheese cake. The overall experience was not worth the price."

  • "I haven't been to the BMFC in a year. I'm seriously not sure how this restaurant fell off of my radar, but trust me, that won't happen again! We were seated at a waterside outdoor table in the middle of the summer...BMFC drops the clear side-flaps & pumps in the A/C...which was lovely. The house bread basket, served with creamy butter, olive oil, & roasted garlic (yummy), was fresh, crusty, & delicious. We shared Canadian Cove Mussels...a larger than expected mound tender mussels cooked with lemon, butter, white wine, tomatoes, rosemary, & pancetta...& a Lobster Roll, served with homemade potato chips and coleslaw. Both 'entrees' were truly sensational & the service (thanks, Jason) excellent. I'll be back soon! Go. You'll love it."

  • "We've been to Blue Moon 3 times during the past 6 months. Food is always very good. If not oppressively hot, you want to dine outside overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Service is always good, although at times a bit rushed. But, what marred our visit - was the hostess who sat us at our table. She chose to seat us at the second row of tables - when we chose to be seated at the first row closest to the water (even though the awning with plastic see-through opening was down - to allow the air conditioning to its job). Her response was that they were for "regulars". Really? Upon seeing who they sat at those tables - they appeared to be normal people. I just wondered how many times do i need to dine there to become a "regular"."

  • "We went to Blue Moon Fish to celebrate our anniversary. Joe was our server and he was excellent. My husband had the sevice for an appetizer which was very good. I had one of the fish specials and my husband had the seafood platter. Both of our fish dinners were brought out quickly and was wonderfully paired with white wine. We will be back. The manager and hostess were also very accommodating. Great spot!"

  • "Service was very slow. Restaurant was understaffed. Waiter tried hard, but could not over come lack of wait staff and slow kitchen. He was running to try to cover everything, but could not do it alone. Took nearly an hour for appetizer to arrive. Fish & seafood was very fresh, but preparations depended on an overuse of sweet chili sauce. Seemed to be in everything. Very un-imaginative. Main plates were so-so to average. Space was nicely decorated, but very loud. We were very disappointed and will not be back."

The selection is great, in addition to the buffet, raw bar, and sushi bar you can order several choice entries from your waiter who serves them hot from the kitchen.   • "Last time at this Resturant was for Valantines Day Dinner. I always choose this Resturant for a special occasion, except for tonight where I was looking for my exceptional favorite fish - Sea Bass. Not even on the menu but you ask for it and it is cooked to perfection. Husband had the fillet and was happy with his choice. Sorbets for dessert was mango. Nice... Our server was so pleasing and engaging. It was and always is a great dinning experience. The :-( moment: If you attract Mosquitos like I do, wear repellant or coverup. We were seated outside but within a plastic covered exposed dock area that was temperature controlled but since I was backless, I was on the main menu for the entire mosquito population of the Resturant!!!!"

  • "I have known this restaurant in many "incarnations" over the past 30 years. It continues to remain a standard for good food and excellent service. The service staff is quick and alert--attentive to details and the diner's positive experience. I must say that I prefer the restaurant when the canvas and plastic are removed and the room is open to the air--but I did appreciate the AC in the humidity. I'm usually here in January! I dined alone and was not made to feel awkward or pathetic. Nor was I rushed. I enjoyed cocktails and paired wines with the superb Snapper entree and the crab cake appetizer. Service by Phillip was excellent and the entire evening was exactly what I expected--really satisfying!"

  • "Amazing view, excellent food, mediocre service. This is my fourth time at Blue Moon and I've had the same experience each time. The service is always friendly but slow. The Brie appetizer is unique and amazing. I tried both the Grouper and Snapper and both were delectable. The lobster risotto was poor, with a smokey flavor that completely overpowered anything else. Overall a real treat. Enjoy!"

  • "We tried to get thru the front door and had to walk past FIVE (5) carhops who were standing in front of the door. None of the five had the sense or courtesy to open the heavy door for my wife. That fact should have told us to dine elsewhere. The waiter was friendly but he was distracted and incompetent. Bread and rolls came AFTER the food was delivered. The excellent mahi mahi was not prepared as was requested when we ordered the sauce on the side. The waiter's suggestion of a daily special of fish and chips was almost a winner. Two of the four pieces of fried grouper were excellent and two pieces were tough and inedible. To sum up the whole experience , we were never asked for an ice tea and a water refill. .Unforgiveable for Florida"
