I had the Chilean sea bass which was buttery and perfectly cooked. My wife had the snapper which was served over a mushroom and asparagus risotto and was devine. Desserts are extemely large and plentiful for 2 to share. Great outdoor area on the water with nice views of the intracoastal. Good bar and wine list. We really enjoyed live music during brunch. The musician offered current music as well as all time favorites backed up by a sound track. He is loaded with personality acknowleging dinners with a wave or a nod and has a nice voice and is proficient on the trumpet.
The food was okay but the eggs benidict was stingy with little sauce and accompanied by two asparagus spears. My husband's omlet was overcooked and we had to ask for water for th dog and refills on the ice tea. The service here is exemplary without bieng intrusive, the meals are well prepared, fresh, imaginative and interesting, and the wine list is excellent. The owners have invested well in making the ambience beautiful without being over-the-top which creates a feeling of casual elegance perfect for South Florida. We could not have picked a better place in all of Ft Lauderdale! We booked on OpenTable and left a note requesting waterfront seating and mentioned it was our honeymoon. George met us at the door with a warm and genuine congratulations. He immediately had us seated in the outdoor area along the intercoastal. When he saw that we were in the second row of tables and next to a large (and somewhat loud) party, he had another section of the outdoor area opened and moved us to a waterfront table away from the rest of the diners. The view is very relaxing and the atmosphere great. The food is superb but the prices are on the high side. However, for lunch there is a 2x1 promotion that makes the bill more palatable.

Our server was very attentive and knew all about the food. The food was incredible. EXTREMELY WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!! My recommendation is to order the New Orleans Fire Cracker Oysters. I loved everything but i felt the Shellfish Panroast was a little sweet. Which to me means while you sit along the water if humid outside it is a little uncomfortable. They do have tables inside but the doors are kept open along the back so the humidity exists. I had the mahi sandwich and thought it was bland, though two others had the mahi entree and loved it. Only mild gripe was the cake service - we opted to pay the extra $3 fee per plate to have the cake sliced and served with whipped cream and berries - it was nice presentation but $3 for one small raspberry, 1 small strawberry and a sprinkling of chocolate shavings seems excessive.
