  • "We were a table of 4, each of us ordered something different, I had the roasted Chicken, broccoli, mac & Cheese (so good), my husband had the veal shank, daughter the salmon and son in law the pork tenderloin. All was ver good. We had the calamari and mussels for apps and the bread pudding for dessert. Outstanding! We had not been to the restaurant in months so nice to go back and see the same quality of food has not changed, only got better. The waiter was very nice and got our drinks and food to us at a nice pace."

Very nice rooftop deck atmosphere when it's not too hot; they offers a nicely priced happy hour menu in the bar, on the roof and outside, from 5-10pm , if you just want to hang out, have some great good and not spend a lot of money. The bartenders and servers are very attentive."

  • "Saturday dinner was quite good. Tuna app w/cantaloupe was good, not as good as waiter sold it. The chopped house salad was good, too much dressing was used. Perhaps serve with dressing on side or use less. Scallop entrée was very good. Surf and turf was also very good. No desert. Service was slow at times not crisp! Cocktails were tasty! Overall very good, will return."

  • "From the free valet parking our guests were hooked that we selected such a fantastic place for their 30th wedding anniversary dinner. My wife and I are frequent visitors to our neighborhood Gem. But the night was exceptional. We have the chateau breon for two which was cooked to perfection, the sea scallops that had an amazing light cream sauce, and the wonderful mushroom Wellington. The treat of the night was the new recipe for the grilled octopus. The special bed of barley was so tasty and the octopus melted in your mouth. We absolutely love this place. While all of their deserts are from heaven we couldn't fit anything more in on this wonderful night."

  • "We heard the rooftop dining had incredible view. Unfortunately, the rooftop patio is small and the walls are so high, you have to standon bar chairs to look over, and barely glimpse the harbor. You're really looking into someone's house and rooftop deck. But it was outdoors in a fun neighborhood. Indoor ambiance wonderful. Food was good, inventive cocktails, good service. Noisy on the rooftop. Overall good experience."

  • "From the moment we walked in, I knew this was not going to be a good experience. Outdoor patio closed for party, no salmon left ( this was at 6:30 pm), a terrible mojito ( which I was charged for) and very rushed service. It was a Sunday evening and I felt the staff didn't want to be there. I have been many times before but will not be back. Baltimore has too many great restaurants to waste my time."

  • "This place could easily be a 5 star all around restaurant with just a few minor fixes. The food and menu is outstanding. Atmosphere and ambiance is hip and unique. Minor tweaks - even thought the restaurant was half full they sat us at a table next to the door (which sticks open after every use) instead of in some of the more better room viewing tables. High traffic area and had to get up at least four times to close the door. Our immediate server was slow and seemed disinterested. Had to get up twice to fill our own wine glasses among other things. Overall this place is a gem!"

My husband and I generally go there for a "date night" since it has a more upscale vibe to it, as opposed to a laid back neighborhood spot. They have an upstairs outside dining area as well on the street level in the front of the restaurant. Both are great!"

  • "Dinner for two on Saturday, May 31 was very much enjoyed by both of us. Our waiter, Nick, was excellent, always there to attend to our needs but gave us plenty of space when we needed it to enjoy the evening. Starting with something different, the fried pickles and banana peppers got us off to a fun start. After considering several options, we decided to go for the Chateaubriand for Two. The beef was tremedous along with the mashed potatoes and green beans. Cooked as expected and delivered to our table on a platter. Wonderful meal along with a reasonably priced bottle of Merlot. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!"

  • "Pros: location, ambiance, service Cons: food, lack of knowledge The service we received was very good. What disappointed me the most was the food. Some things were really good (the hummus, the mussels, and the crustinis) while some things just fell totally flat (the steak, the veal, and the drinks). Mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the potatos that came with the steak entrees were dry. Maybe we caught them on an off night. It happens. I guess my expectations exceeded the reality. Note: stella artois is a Belgian beer not Netherlands (as noted on drink menu)"

  • "WE have the braised beef soup which was delicious. The meat was very tender as were the veggies and the broth was tasty. This was followed by the shrimp and calamari po bo, mmmm good. The other entree for our lunch was the turkey ??? sandwich, also very good. The service was crisp and punctual, not overly involved. The waitress stopped by to both check on our food and to see if we wanted another round of drinks, iced tea. Overall the experience was very good!"
