A group of approx ten was going to be seated next to us. A management staff came to our table and explained that a party of ten was going to be next to us and was concerned about the noise. He offered to reseat us. We declined, however. We did not want to loose our very attentive waiter!! The fact that the manager reacted and ask us before we would have had an issue was great. Its common sense but a lot of establishments still dont get it. Especially.... a glass of wine that is more than a thimbulfull.
My only criticism is the noise level.... it was so noisy on the first floor that i could barely hear the person acrsss the table.

The hostess and wait staff were friendly and quite attentive. The beer and wine selection was first-class, and the food was crazy good! Everything was done to perfection and tasted wonderful. The desserts were also exquisite. Just like our previous visits here, BHT delivered in every aspect. Great cocktails to start, wonderful mushroom soup, terrific entrees, and fabulous desserts.
BHT is now the restaurant I think about when we talk about going out for dinner. We have been there numerous times now and have never had a bad experience.

The wine he helped us choose was perfect. A complimentary glass of champagne was a really nice touch and it was so nice outside that we dined outside on the deck. The Tuna was terrific, cooked perfectly, and the surf and turf (especially the crabcake) was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. The dessert was the only disappointment. My husband really wanted cheesecake but those little teenie cheese cake puffs were not appetizing. My salted caramel icecream was okay. A flan would have been better. Waiter was prompt and pleasant. We had cocktails that were very good, and for the appetizers each had the fois gras with a blueberry and walnut sauce that was surprisingly subtle and did not overpower the excellent fois. Only glitch in the service was that the bottle of wine (a mediocre California pinot) was served after the entrees were served. Entrees were ok, but not up to the standard of the fois gras.
My rabbit dish was more like a soup, not quite what I expected, and my wife's pork was nicely pink but with very large pieces. Our waiter, Alex, was great -- not only was he attentive but he had tasted all the items on the menu and was able to make really helpful suggestions. The food was imaginative and delicious -- nice little twists on old favorites, such as a splash of Guinness in Cream of Crab soup in honor of St. Patrick's day. They have an extensive wine list -- but also 10 bottles under $25, which we really appreciated. And while we easily found street parking, they also have complementary valet parking.
