"The service was excellent - our server was prompt, polite, and had a great sense of timing. We ordered the pecan crusted salmon, the Carolina scallops, the spare ribs, and the lamb kebabs. The lamb was cooked nicely, as was the salmon, and the cheese grits were a perfect complement to the scallops. The flavor on the spare ribs was perfect, but the ribs were fattier than we had anticipated. I was also disappointed that our $2 house wine glasses doubled in price when I used my Living Social coupon, though I believe our server warned me of the price difference and I misunderstood. Overall, it was a great experience, especially once the table next to us left and the restaurant quieted down a bit."

"I had eaten on a business lunch at another place in the same plaza as Blue Grotto Sushi and Tapas and made a mental note to circle back to it. Great note taking!
My partner, small son, and I had a wonderful dinner and enjoyable evening. We ordered both sushi and tapas.
The wait staff was wonderful and the bar service as well. My only push back about the evening - and it was 7pm on a Friday night so I need to take some responsibility- is that there were two tables of 4 adult couples sandwiching us into our area of the restaurant that were REALLY loud. Both tables had individuals that insisted on carrying a conversation with the person at the furthest point away from them. This made our interactions with the wait staff hard."
