  • "We gave this a second shot. Eggs ice cold not stocked and 37.00 a piece. We are regular diners here but will give up on blue canyon brunch. It just us not good. I make better pancakes and eggs benny"

  • "This is not our first brunch or even first holiday brunch here. The food was a little cold this time and just good this trip not it's usual fabulous. Great service as usual. Maybe it was us being in the first seating time and they had not gotten in the groove yet. Will have to try again."

  • "The brunch selection was good overall. A couple of negative notes would be that the food was not as warm on many of the meat dishes and the price per plate was very high for what was served. "

  • "Pricey at 36.00. Large selection of breakfast foods and salads. Dessert bar and pastry bar also. Would have liked some dinner rolls. All was adequate but nothing special. Most disappointing was the portions of prime rib and ham served at carving stations. Literally two small bites of each. For the price, it should have been an adequate slice. When I complained to server that my little piece was mostly fat, he said that is how prime rib is and would not give me another. I heard other diners complain about the portion as well. I've eaten dinner there before and will go back for that, but don't think I will for brunch buffet again. Too expensive for what I got, carnivore that I am. "

  • "We have dined at Blue Canyon several times since its opening. We always enjoy the food and the ambiance. The waiters are very attentive and strive to do their best to please."

  • "Our third visit, and we were not disappointed. We both opted for sea-food this time around (though they are know for their steaks). Both entrees were excellent! It ain't cheap, though..."

  • "Whenever we travel east we stop at Blue Canyon. We found it by accident several years ago and now it is our Ohio stop."

  • "First bite of the scallops was really salty but then when I paired it with the deliclicious mashed potatoes, they were perfect. Everyone's dishes were delicious. "

  • "We were using a gift certificate from my daughter. We met her fiancé in 2005 for first time for Sunday brunch. We had our 40th wedding anniversary there in 2006, and have gone back on anniversaries, usually. This time we were treating a friend who did some special kindness for us this last month and all the family was grateful Food is consistently good and atmosphere is lovely."

  • "I had asked to be placed in a corner area as this was primarily a business dinner. They placed in a quiet corner in an unused spot in the restaurant. I couldn't have asked for a better place. The waiter was extremely patient as business was being discussed before we even looked at the menu. It was probably 45 minutes before we were even ready to order and he was extremely understanding. He brought us drinks and stepped away quickly as not to intrude. I would come here again and again."

  • "Consistant excellent food and service; excellent varied menu."

  • "We had a special day for 3 of our grandchildren. 2 birthdays and a confirmation at church. Our meal and waiter was first class. The only negatives were they did nothing at all to recognize the childrens birthdays or the confirmation of the thirds other than say happy birthday. We were a little surprised. The second surprise was the prices of the drinks. Very high. I have never paid over $12 for a manhatten and will never should I go there again. $7 for a draft beer is also one of the highest in looking over the bill. Other than that the overall experience was great."

  • "Went there with my wife and three other couples. We were seated at an oval table that allowed everyone to converse easily. Table overlooked the wooded valley to the east. In addition to being a great view, it complimented the decor of the restaurant very well. Menu is not very large but there were a sufficient number of choices to please any palate. Our group had a mix of seafood, wild game and steaks. Everyone agreed that their meal tasted wonderful. Our server, Mary, was properly attentive and friendly. This place is not cheap but, for a great meal with friends, it was well worth it. Would definitely go back!"

  • "Our first time visit to CB. I chose to sit facing the window instead of sitting by the window facing the dining room. I believe my waitress was a bit irritated over this. Mary, the waitress, proceeded to lean in front of me every time she served the person to my right, instead of walking behind me. Very rude and unprofessional. All the other staff walked ariund each guest, and the busers/helpers did as well. M She was pleasant, enough and timely with the serving. The food was hot and very good. I feel the prices were a bit expensive, and the "view" they raved about, and that I was expecting, was dampened, by the roof of the shopping mall, the lower parking lot, and the interstate."

  • "Blue Canyon has a great reputation. So automatically when you walk in expectations are higher. Our server was really nice and the seating location was beautiful. We were celebrating with a party of 7. I'm torn because as the night went on the following transpired: Piece of plastic found in an order of potatoes. Taken away immediately. New order given. But only the server apologized. This plastic was large enough to choke someone. Where was the Manager? Next an order of scallops in butter sauce was delivered in cream sauce. Not normally a big deal but the recipient has a dairy allergy. Drink orders and water refills were slow. The checks were all incorrect. Again just higher expectations."

  • "First time at Blue Canyon. The service was exceptional. The dining room was so comfortable and I loved the quietness of our dining experience. Did not notice any chatter of nearby tables. My fish was great. The other dinners my family thought were ok but should have been better for the price. I would like to try brunch there and maybe go when the leaves are in bloom."

  • "good place for a special occasion dinner, but not for the brunch---overpriced"
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "I've dined here before and know that the dining room is terribly loud - a lot of echoing and nothing to dampen the sounds. I specifically requested to eat in the patio/bar area - 4 days prior. When it was time to be seated we were told there was no table for us & we would HAVE to eat in the dining room. No only was it loud, but we were seated at a Huge table that was almost twice the size of a normal table, so we had to content with all the other tables talking and we had to yell to be heard across our table. Two of us talked together but we really couldn't converse with the other side of the table. If they would get smaller tables everyone would not have to shout so much & the place would probably be quieter."

  • "This was my first time here. Has a beautiful lodge feel yet still a bit fancy. Our service was supurb and the food was just as fantastic. My husband I and had a wonderful seat right by the fireplace. Perfect on a chilly day. He got the wild boar. Never having tried it before he was amazed at how wonderful it tasted. Just like steak with a little sweetness to it. I got the lobster linguini. It was wonderful as well. Our waitress checked on us frequently and made us feel extra special. We can't wait to go back!"

  • "It was over crowded for Mother's Day brunch, they could not keep up with the food and closed the buffet 15 min after our reservation."

  • "Food was average Andover priced and small servings. Restaurant is nice and service was good!"

  • "We made reservations for a Monday and were seated in the bar even though there were lots of seating available in the facility. Waitress was friendly and prompt. There was a good choice of specials available and our food was very good. My wife's steak was undercooked and she chose not to send it back. Drink prices were high. We have had better experiences there the other two times we visited this facility and it will be some time before we try Blue Canyon again."

  • "We were a group of six for dinner. We had no problem hearing each other. The food was very good. Two people had the buffalo meatloaf and loved it! The primerib was also a hit. Our waiter was very attentive. We will definitely go back."

  • "We had our 32nd wedding anniversary celebration at Blue Canyon and it was truly a wonderful evening. The wine was just right and we chose the seafood specials for dinner (scallops for me - yum!). The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and dinner was at an unhurried pace that let us truly enjoy talking about the things that were important to us. We highly recommend Blue Canyon. What a night!"

  • "much touted "chocolate bombe" somewhat, but only somewhat, better than a twinkie. salad makings must be in short supply, given the tiny serving size in comparison with the price."

  • "I have been to the Blue Canyon many times for Sunday brunch. We had good service, but found many items on the buffet to be cold. One example was the sausage. We ordered off the menu to get some food that was not cold. The omlet was vey good."

  • "waitress was great which makes any time good. Food was really good and we all had a wonderful time."

  • "We took my father to a surprise dinner party to celebrate his birthday. Two of our guests arrived while we were eating dinner and our server brought their food to them 10 minutes later!! I took a birthday cake and the server did everything perfect and we gave him an extra tip!! The restaurant was extremely busy and we had an excellent waiter!!!"
