Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern offers a unique experience unlike any other. A majestic log cabin, reminiscent of those gracing the national parks out West, sits atop a sandstone buff in the most unlikely of places: Twinsburg, Ohio. Its presence welcomes wary guests to enjoy a retreat from everyday life, while enjoying the culinary creations of award-winning Executive Chef Brandt Evans. Guests are invited in to enjoy creative American cooking in one of six-nature inspired dining rooms each offering a unique dining destination, from the splendor of the Great Room to the intimacy of the Porch. During the summer from Memorial Day up to Labor Day guests who enjoy outdoor dining can mingling with friends & family on our Patio, complete with a water feature, fire pit, full bar & brick oven.Continued

  • "My husband & I like to dine on a budget. We have had great meals at a fraction of the cost through several websites. Blue Canyon is one of our favorite spots. Recently, we took advantage of the customer appreciation dinner special. As Horseshoe Club members, we enjoyed our entrees at half off. My husband chose Alaskan salmon and I had the blackened shrimp. Both of us preceded our meals with the lobster bisque soup which is standard for us! Food, service, and friendliness of the Blue Canyon staff keep us coming back. We enjoy the Sunday buffet brunch several times a year and hosted a buffet brunch for our out of town guests following our son's wedding. The staff was very accommodating and helpful to make it a memorable event."

  • "There was plenty of really good food available and service was wonderful. Made to order (placed with the waiter) eggs benedict, omelets, pancakes were hot and delicious. We also attended Mother's Day Brunch here and have the same gripe about two of the items served on both occasions. The shrimp cocktail was watery and fishy tasting. I am a huge fan of prime rib, but on both occasions the prime rib is cut in half horizontally. I understand the reason for cutting the prime rib as they did, but on both occasions the carving station had only the half that was primarily fat. Going up multiple times to the carving station to check to see if they were carving the leaner part. It was always the fattier end. Still delicious, but fatty."

  • "I've been here many times including my rehearsal dinner and my brother's rehearsal dinner. I've had a few of the fish dishes, as well as the Elk Flank Steak wild game special. All were great. However, since the Wild Boar has been the only wild game special for the last 6 months, I've had to look at other dishes. The Beef Tenderloin I had last night was not only chewy, it was bland. The Beef Short Ribs were OK at best. The Wild Boar Tenderloin was absolutely indistinguishable from a plain Pork Tenderloin."

The ingredients were average; there was nothing about them that warranted the price. The service was amateurish at best. Server demonstrated lack of knowledge over and over as he was led by customers due to his lack of experience. He forgot to bring side dish and did not even notice. Entrees came on top of salads and champagne flutes were not even polished. Overall this was a waste of $200."

  • "Friends and I gathered for dinner, and we wanted to try something different, so we ordered the pecan crusted trout off the recommendation of our waitress. The trout was garnished capers and laid over the spinach and fingerling potatoes. We were all amazed by the delicious taste, so much that we are planning to join their club and dine there again with two weeks. The portion size was larger than what I could eat, so I brought half home for my 16 year old son, and needless to say, he was amazed too."

  • "My wife & parents went here Saturday (24th) for dinner. Andrew was our waiter. He was very knowledgeable of the menu items as well as the specials and his recommendations pairing the wine with specific entree's were spot-on. The only thing I didn't really care for was where we were seated. Their were plenty of other tables in the restaurant but we were seated by the kitchen and it really wasn't terrible but a little noisy. I had the trout (signature dish) and it was very good. All other entree's came with a thumb's up. Andrew was very attentitive and brought our drinks in a timely manner. Overall, a great evening."

  • "Server was rushing us, we had to tell her we were here to dine and would be here for a while. When she poured wine into our glass it was not done with care, the same with the water being poured. One of my guest is a slow eater, and at one point while clearing the dishes for the three of us that had finished dinner, the server started taking the bread plate dish for the person still eating. We had to tell the server she was still enjoying her dinner. A short time later the server came back and picked up the plate with food still on it and took it away. Again the server never asked if my guest was finished with dinner which she was not. I wanted to say something to the server, but my guest ask me not to."

  • "Girlfriend were celebrating a Birthday Brunch at the Blue Canyon. Upon arrival we were seated in the Tavern, a dark place where no one else was dining. Brunch was in the main dining room, and our reservation had requested a table with a window view. Our hostess said that it will be a couple of minutes to get our table ready. Upon seating us, a server came to bring us glasses of water. He never greeted us, and just said "excuse me" as he placed each of our water glasses on the table. After sitting there for about 5 minutes, I looked up to signal a waitress to our table. Jennifer came and issued us a friendly greeting and offered us great service and we enjoyed our Brunch and Mimosas."

  • "Having eaten here before, I thought it would be a perfect place to take a group. So a group of 9 of us recently ate here on a Saturday. Everything was delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every dish. A few of the favorites were the pretzel crusted trout, lobster mac n cheese, scallops, boar tenderlion and delmonico steak. Our service was fantastic. The only caveat was the restaurant was very loud and in a big group we couldn't hear each other very well. I also wish they had a larger dessert selection. The desserts we ordered were the chocolate bombe and some sorbet, which were also delicious. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to anyone."
