Blue CanoePleasant and AccomadatingWe had prompt, hot and delicious food. Tried the spot prawn appetizer, and though it was small, it was very good, as was their selection of seafood. Nice wine and nice little community, far removed from the normal hustle and bustle oftrendy Vancouver restaurants. We had the trout and the halibut. I tried the prawn and salmon roulade (?) - it was delicious and my wife had the halibut special and also enjoyed that. We have not been there for many months so we had not seen our server before. She was great and very attentive. During the meal, on a cloudy evening, the sun peaked through just at sunset and we got a great view of nature at its best. After we finished our meal and while we were enjoying our coffee, the Chef came out and visited several of the tables, including ours so we were able to ask a question about the meal I had ordered and get the answer from the expert.3/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
