The redesigned rustic-meets-modern ambiance compliments the Contemporary American menu which features premium cuts of meat, ocean-fresh seafood and signature raw bar. Seasonal outdoor dining on the flagstone patio is available upon request.
In 2013, Blue Bell Inn underwent extensive renovations for over a year. Various historical aspects were enhanced through thoughtful restoration and new materials such as solid white oak and porcelain tile floors were introduced to create a stunning architectural mélange spanning three centuries.

The food was outstanding and our server (25+ year veteren) was wonderful. We couldn't get a table outside so we ate in a smaller, quieter room upstairs. The group in the room next door seemed to be having a ball. The bar looked lively and the outdoor area looks great.

we liked the old Bluebell in better. We had to eat int the bar area because of someone not being able to climb stairs. Because, the building was so recently renovated, we would have expected to see some sort of ramp for easier walking with a walker. Very very noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation. We were disappointed in the menu choices. Would have liked to have a few more to choose from. If we had been able to eat in the main dining room I am sure we would have enjoyed our lunch much more. Place was very busy and obviously very popular. We had never seen the parking lot that crowded for the old Blue Bell inn.

Somewhat limited menu. I'm a real fan of Prime Rib but it is nowhere to be found on the menu! My rib eye steak was very good but not any better than Longhorns at about twice their price. Also, no crab cakes on dinner menu only starter menu. Bar service was very good.

The worst service we have ever experienced. Food and drinks came out and left on table that were never ordered. Waiter no where in sight to let him know. Two entrees came to our table and the remaining two came later while the two had finished their dinner rather then wait and eat it cold-one entree finally came was not what was ordered. The waiter was trying to convince me to take it anyway. Had to wait while they cooked another one and finally received while everyone was finished. Not a enjoyable night with friends and unacceptable for a restaurant of this price level. Blue Bell - please train your staff.

We both had salads for lunch & found portions small & "add ons " very chincy ~ the 1 salad came with blue cheese. There wasn't even 1/4 tsp on the dish & 6 tiny blueberries. The decor is beautiful but way too loud due to nothing to absorb the sound. Not rushing back ~

First time back to the restaurant since major renovations completed this summer. Wow! The new owners retained the historical country atmosphere (wood beams, upholstered booths, etc.) but created a much more open yet warm experience. The service was tremendous with an attentive wait staff and management. The food was very good; we tried both seafood and steak and both were excellent. Prices were reasonable for this upscale dining. After dinner, closed by having a nightcap in the walled patio area by the firepit and waterfall. Very relaxing evening.

Mussels were small & sauce needed more flavor. Onion rings needed more flavor. Grilled shrimp needs to not come out barely cooked. Caesar salad had no flavor & was soggy. For people who love Caesar Salad, don't try & trick us, we know when a salad has been sitting around. Rolls were nothing to talk about. Live band was too loud. Manager did take off 1/2 the bill which was very generous & very smart!!! Kudos!!! Believe it or not, we will come back again to give it another try. It's beautiful & would order something else. We want to love it...make it happen.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Blue Bell Inn. They did a wonderful job renovating, but two things keep it from five star. The most important being that the entree prices seemed a bit too high even for a high-end establishment. That said, for a special occasion, it was worth the splurge as the food was tasty. Second, they seated us in the very back in the most dated part of the Inn. We were surrounded by 70-year-olds with big band playing in the background after passing hip new space with available tables and a swank section that looked like an up-scale steakhouse (also with ample seating). Why they sat a young couple in this area is beyond me, but its dated feel and hard-of-hearing clientele put a damper on enjoying the renovated space.

The outdoor seating and bar area at the newly renovated Blue Bell Inn are just great. It's a lovely place for dinner on a summer or fall night if they have some heaters. The menu needs more small plates so you could just have drinks and a bite. Main dishes are expensive. All in all, nice job on the renovation!

The Blue Bell Inn is certainly not what it was years ago!! It is a lovely do over with wonderful outdoor spaces and a hot bar scene. It was VERY popular and VERY noisy on Saturday but we thoroughly enjoyed. it. Quite expensive for the quality of the food( decent but not great although beautifully presented). All in all a fun evening and certainly worth a trip if you don't mind overpaying and you aren't a "foodie".

we ordered oysters, which were delicious...but oddly came with no cocktail sauce. the crab cocktail came mixed in a light mayo sauce..which i also wish would have been stated on the menu. my husband got the lobster bake...which was exactly what it was, but it was nothing special. nothing out of the ordinary or that you couldn't get at any crab shack. I love chilean sea bass and was so excited to see it on the menu. it was cooked well, but sadly had NO flavor, at all. it was so bland i had to ask for salt and pepper to try to doctor it up. I ordered 3 $12 cocktails..the first was wonderful, the 2nd a bit different (in a bad way) and the third tasted like a completely different drink. just an all around let down for the price of $200!

I haven't been to the the Blue Bell Inn for years. Our experience was excellent. The manager was amazing and accommodating. The food was delicious. I like that there are so many different rooms, which makes it seem like you aren't going to the same restaurant time after time. The service was amazing. I would definitely recommend the Blue Bell Inn. Also, the dress code is a plus - you can where something dressy or casual shorts and feel completely comfortable.

They did a beautiful job rehabbing the old Blue Bell Inn. We sat outside in the beautiful courtyard - complete with fire and waterfall - and enjoyed our food, excellent service from Eric and others, and loved the jazz. A beautiful and romantic evening. We were very impressed. Two pretty and busy bars. We were there late (9:00 reservation) and it was still active when we left. The only slight downfall was the decaf coffee which was served lukewarm and I really like my coffee hot! But, we look forward to going back.

We enjoyed this get together with friends whom we haven't seen in 3 years. Three opted for the Cobb salad, with blue cheese dressing. The quantity and quality were both excellent. The 4th treated himself with the lobster roll and said it was outstanding. The service was professional; efficient, personable; but, not intrusive. We were seated in the bar area looking out on the patio with the sliding glass doors open. Since we last visited many years ago, the whole restaurant has been enlarged, substantially renovated, and the outdoor area added. We had difficulty recognizing what we once knew. A great renovation has been done.

THe new Blue Bell Inn was beautifully restored. However, the menu wasn't that great and very overpriced for what you received. Every item is ala carte also. I don't know if I will go back, but glad I did go to see what it was like. We were in the large dining room on a Tuesday night and it was very noisy; hard to hear others at your table. I had the lobster roll and there were pieces of lobster shell in my sandwich. Only my opinion, but if this restaurant is to succeed, the food and menu must get better for the money they are charging. Our waiter was very good.
