A word from Blue Bell Inn
The redesigned rustic-meets-modern ambiance compliments the Contemporary American menu which features premium cuts of meat, ocean-fresh seafood and signature raw bar. Seasonal outdoor dining on the flagstone patio is available upon request.
In 2013, Blue Bell Inn underwent extensive renovations for over a year. Various historical aspects were enhanced through thoughtful restoration and new materials such as solid white oak and porcelain tile floors were introduced to create a stunning architectural mélange spanning three centuries.

The new owners of the Blue Bell Inn have done a wonderful job renovating this landmark into an open and elegant space while using the wood, stone and finishes that remind us of the old Inn. The menu offered something for everyone except vegetarians and vegans, but I asked for a vegan option on a Saturday evening, and was given three choices by our very attentive waiter. My food was excellent and my table mates all raved about their dishes. The food was beautifully presented. The new outdoor patio looks lovely. Overall a very pleasant evening. Definitely would return.

Haven't been here in years, looks like a new restaurant. The tuna trio appetizer was fresh and delicious as was the lobster role, coudos to the chef for such an innovative menu. The prime rib was as memorable as it ever was and the desserts outstanding. So glad we decided to come back.

They did not have our reservation on their books. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated while others WITH reservations were seated immediately. That was disappointing. But the food and service were wonderful! I've been to the Blue Bell Inn many times while my gentleman friend had never been there. We enjoyed the harp music while waiting. Overall it was a very good experience. Open Table needs to find out what went wrong with that reservation.

Fresh and modern, this renovated historic restaurant is a joy to behold. The menu is diverse and the chef has created a master selection of creative selections. We enjoyed everything we ordered including a deconstructed coconut cream pie in a martini glass.

I was very disappointed with the service. Our waiter did not seem to be attentive or look to see if we were trying to get his attention....... at all. Our finished plates sat on our table for way too long and I had to almost physically wave both hands in the air to get his attention for our check. I would suggest wait staff training on awareness and attentive attention to dining clients, through the whole dining experience.

We have been there before and it was great, and it was again. I had the Seafood bake and it was delicious. A nice mix of giant shrimp, great oxymoron for a foodie, lobster tail, clams, mussels, sausage, potato and corn. Not New England, better. Wife had the lamb chops, lolly pop. They disappeared and that is unusual for her to finish a dinner. Great service, great venue, overall a great experience

Had a delicious dinner at the Blue Bell Inn. It was our first time there since it was re-opened. The food was outstanding! The menu is not large but there's a little bit of everything on it. Our service was great. We were seated at a table in the bar area which was a little nosier. There was live entertainment that night (it was a Saturday) which was very enjoyable and added to our dining experience. We will definitely go back.

The main bar area is amazing with a large surface area as well as high top tables, comfy chairs and live music. There is also a fresh oyster bar. We were there on a chilly Fall night, but they also have a second bar that has large garage style doors that open in the warmer weather and extends into a bar/patio area. There are several dining rooms to handle many reservations - anywhere from larger parties to private tables for 2. The food was delicious and had amazing presentation. Our waiter was apparently new (was still his first week) but he knew the menu inside and out; had strong recommendations etc. I would say the age range the bar appeals to is the late 30-somethings to early/mid 40-somethings and beyond.

We went on a Friday and snagged the last 2 empty seats at their packed bar for Happy Hour ($5 house wines, discounted well drinks e.g. Rum & Coke, one discounted app: Fried oysters). We enjoyed specialty cocktails at the bartender's recommendation, and learned the recipes were created by the bartender herself: a fig-infused-brandy sidecar (perfect for fall, not too sweet), and a spiced apple white wine sangria w/ real apple pieces. Service was great despite the crowd: timely, professional yet comfortable & friendly, both at the bar and later at our table (thanks Jamie V)! The food is a step above most local places, I enjoyed my Sweet potato lobster bisque and Pear crisp w/ gingersnap ice cream, and my fiance loved the salmon.

Were we lucky to have a warm November day to enjoy lunch outside at BBI.We dine there frequently, and it is always great. Servers are prompt and very accommodating.2 diners had the chicken melt sandwich:generous portions of chicken with delicious cheese. Accompanying fries were crisp and tasty. I am vegetarian, and while there are plenty of salads and flatbreads for me to choose from, I just wanted something different. I noticed a Creole slaw on a menu item, and asked if chef could make a sandwich for me: Wonderful choice! Delightful brioche, generous portion of the delicious slaw, and Swiss cheese. If you haven't been, go!

The new Blue Bell Inn in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, under the direction of Victor was simply fantastic. The restaurant looks great and the food was sensational. We stayed away from the "old" Blue Bell Inn after a couple of visits of mediocre food in a well-worn setting. Friends told us about the new owners and menu, and now we're sorry we had not visited sooner! First: the setting is up to date, modern, and stunning. However, they kept the old paintings of the horses which added a nice sense of history. Don't miss the outdoor seating in warmer weather. Second - -the food -- wow! For an appetizer, I had the cheesesteak dumplings which had all of the nice taste of a Philly cheesesteak without the grease. The lamb was perfect; I'm salivating just thinking about it! My wife and I shared the chocolate peanut butter shortcake for desert. Large enough for two, but next time I'm getting my own!

We loved the 'Old' Blue Bell Inn like an old, well respected relative, so we were nervous about the changes. I did not expect to fall in love with its incarnation. The food is very good! The menu respects those of us who expect an excellent, traditional steak dinner. But, it infuses the most recent 30 years of culinary excitement. Blue Bell Inn is now part of this century. Be sure to get dessert! The building 'renovation' is beautiful. We took a walk through the dining rooms and were amazed at the transformation. The service is excellent. We are still treated like special guests. It's a New BETTER Blue Bell Inn.

The renovated Inn is wonderful. So many different areas with different moods and ambience. The bar scene looks like a great time, and the dining rooms are perfect for dinner. There were 6 of us and nobody had any trouble talking and hearing, even though the room was full. All of the food we tried was excellent, and the service was just right. I've recently discovered Blue Bell Inn and have been there several times in the past month. It's a restored 1743 historic inn, and the variety of rooms alone makes it really cool - beautiful outdoor patio with fire pit, bar with a cool vibe and more formal dining areas. The food is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I've been there for lunch, dinner, corporate private dinner and their Thursday night live jazz series - all have been great.

The beet salad is AWFUL. Two out of 11 people tried it, it sounded delish, both individuals felt it was bland and all the wrong ingredients didn't blend well. Having said that, the other food was either "just ok" or "pretty good" the only thing that stood out was the service, the moment we walked through the door the manager greeted us and had a special table setup next to the windows. We were seated properly and served by a lovely female waitress. We will definitely return as we love it there but we'll skip the lettuce & go straight for the fries, yum! No complaints on the service! Above par! Just toss the salad off the menu ... your restaurant deserves better than being "beet"!

Although the initial interaction with the hostess while were were being seated was very unpleasant, the night turned around quite nicely. The food, although expensive, was very good. Nice Caesar dressing on the salad, and rich sweet potato lobster soup. The lamb chop entree was cooked perfectly, and paired well with the quinoa. My dining companion enjoyed their basic steak dish. The pumpkin creme brulee was ok, but the white chocolate ice cream was great. Our server was very professional and attentive, and suggested a nice wine to go with my lamb. When my dining companion was unhappy with her cocktail (only because it was too strong) he took it off the bill and brought her a different one. It was unnecessary, but a very nice gesture.
