"We were looking for a restaurant that we could take our well behaved 2 year old to without worry, but also did not want a "kids restaurant". This was perfect. Live music, busy, and noisy restaurant that was lots of fun. Service was impeccable and the food was fabulous. It was just what our group was looking for. Don't know if it would be my choice for a "date night" due to the high volume of the noise,, but if you are looking for a trendy fun place, this is great."

"We so enjoyed our meal upon our return to our home in Ohio I have roasted dried chiles and am making black beans (not on Blue Agave menu but inspired by, so to speak.) Corn chowder, very rich but delicious; blackened shrimp lettuce wrap - wonderfully deep flavors married with cool mango and cabbage; mushroom spinach enchilada - best ever. Salsa is also memorable."

"As frequent visitors to Santa Fe and fans of all foods New Mexican, we feel Blue Adobe is like taking a trip to "The Land of Enchantment." One of our two favorites in the Valley, the other being Carlsbad Tavern."

"After all of the positive reviews I had read on Blue Adobe Grill, I was disappointed. The chips did not taste authentic (think generic Tostito's). The salsa was very dark in color, almost black, and tasted odd to us. Good chips and salsa are a must have; they set the tone for the meal. The "skinny" margarita was was rather watery and I didn't even finish it. While my meal was sizable in portion (I had the Cruz Kitchen Signature), I found the food quite salty. The Carne Adovada was the best of the items served up on my entree. My husband had the Carne Adovada stacked enchiladas, and he was satisfied with his entree. While we would not return for the food, if you like great service and large portions, you may want to consider a stop here."

"We've eaten here several times, and it's always outstanding. Their menu is very unique - certainly not the typical tacos and burritos. This time we all tried entrees that we hadn't had before, and they were all great."
