has been hands down consistent overall with fantastic food & service ! My husband is very picky about his steaks and he loved, loved the aged prime rib eye and for me the filet mignon was great. The truffled mashed potatotes and vegies sooo delicious! Had the wild boar ravioli special, should be an entree its sooo good! And the homemade Popovers heavenly !! Laurent Tourondel elevates the level of classic steakhouse dishes but still ultimately remains try to expectations. Pricey but worth it. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were a standout- buttery and smooth a la Robuchon but with a perfect chile kick. He absolutely loves the steak selection and preparation. I love the seafood dishes, especially the sautéed Branzino. And our son enjoys the deliciously cheesy mac & cheese. We all enjoy the 'out of the oven' popovers - cheesy, soft and scrumptious. The desserts are excellent too. Overall we highly recommend this spot.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AM30th AnniversaryMy Husband and I had the best dining experience on our 30th Anniversary at BLT. The BLT Steak waiters and team of servers were all very attentive. From the first complimentary the champagne, the signature warm popovers, the delicious antipasti to the exceptional wonderful deserts were so elegantly presented. And of course the appetizers, meats, wagyu and sides were all perfectly prepared and presented.

They sat us right away (you need to make a reservation, especially on the weekends). We received a tasting from the chef which was nice and then received these amazing things called popovers. They were delicious! By this time we had already ordered an appetizer and between the chef tasting and the popovers, we realized we didn't need an appetizer. We did have to stop eating as we were getting full and we hadn't ordered our meal yet. For two people, you only need to order two sides with your steak - we ordered mash potatoes and creamed spinach and it was plenty for the two of us. The big windows and open atmosphere were great, much better than NYC. Service is always top notch and the filet mignon was magnificent. The only gripe was there is no kids menu-the kids menu for the day was simply adult sized portions called "kids"-a 10oz burger or a half a chicken. Hmm, seemed a bit much for my young sons. Really, it's not a place for kids. However the Hostesses obviously didn't like their job and since they are easy to spot from a lot of tables I suggest Management should talk to them about their attitudes. I saw them making faces and mock-banging the phone i.e. after hanging up the phone. I have no idea if the hostess can see a special request I had made about a "nice table by the window" but she took us to the first (undesireable) table and we had to ask for the table by the window which was also available. She kind of made a face and led us to that table. I went for an early dinner with a few business associates and while the erperience was good it was a step down from prior experiences. The popovers as usual were very good, but was a bit disappointed in the Rib Eye and it appears that they downsized the side dishes. I seem to recall the sides being for 2-3 people but this time they were barely enough for one.
