This is a great example how a restaurant goes from Good to outstanding just bc the service is on point. The Popovers were incredible and different. The cookies were complimentary and a nice touch. The drinks- omg the best drinks we had all week. The food was tasty. Im not a fan of the sauces they offer and how their steak is charred but it still was a great piece of steak. The ambiance was nice. The chef is originally a pastry chef so imagine how incredible the desserts were. The meal was over the top as was the service of the staff, especially when they made a large shape of a heart with rose petals and wished us happy anniversary. The fillet just melted in our mouths and the side dishes such as the "hen of the woods" mushrooms and gnocchi pomodoro made every bite delightful. Attentive without being overbearing, very nice that the manager came over to the table to say hello. Everything is fresh, including the salads and as a resident of Puerto Rico, I can tell you it is difficult to get fresh salads at restaurants. Portions are good sized, though the side dishes really aren't big enough to share with the table. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The little extras like the popovers and mini cookies are nice.
