  • "After eating at this restaurant many times with great experience, we were taken back by the waitress who gave us the impression that she did not want to be there. We took our son and his girlfriend for their 21st birthdays and even the food was not very good. Not sure I am going back as they really missed the mark making us feel like a welcome customer."

  • "We come into Atlanta frequently to dine but wanted to try something different. We also knew we wanted a good steak but had been to Bones and other great steak houses, so wanted to try something different for our anniversary. It was not a bad experience but not the best either. We ordered a salad to start with that was huge, but at $14, it should be. The downside was that it was loaded with onions and cabbage but very little spinach. It was advertised as a hot spinach salad with bacon dressing but when first put on our table, had no dressing on it at all. We asked for additional dressing but was not the hot bacon dressing was nothing like the traditional bacon dressing that I've eaten many times before so I was disappointed in that."

  • "We had a very dinner on Sunday evening. It was very quiet with only two tables occupied. The food itself was very well prepared and enjoyable. However, service was very immature. Our waiter was a college age kiid who obviously is not a professional waiter. He didn't even have a script to follow which would have been better than nothing. Our dinner cost was $100 per head. At that,price, I expect wait staff like those at Morton's or Ruth Chris. If management is smart, they'll read this and act. My review is reiterating what many other diners have said."

  • "Found BLT while staying at the W Hotel for a weekend in Atlanta which is where you will find this restaurant. The menu is as expected for a high end steak place however it is rare that the corresponding prices match both the quality of the food and the service as is the case in BLT. The bone-in ribeye and filet we ordered were cooked perfectly as expected with the brussels sprouts and potatoes being a perfect compliment. Salads can be split and are very fresh and tasty. Service was excellent with a team always making sure we didn't lack a thing. Enjoy their bread puffs with a dab of butter and a sprinkle of the rock salt. We ate everything on our plates so couldn't fit in dessert although they look amazing as well. Enjoy the BLT in ATL!"

  • "The dinner began with some incredible popovers, which come with the recipe on a small card. Salmon was very nicely prepared. A skirt steak ( not a really tender cut) special was well managed, The filet was the best entree- perfectly cooked and seasoned and served with 2 sauces. Carrot cake was very good. Waiter made good recommendations from the menu. Didn't know much about the wine, but was happy to get the sommelier . There is a nice list of wines available by the glass, he made some excellent suggestions. I was a little concerned about the pace of the meal when the salads were brought out seemingly on top of the popovers, but we ate at our pace, and the entrees did not arrive until after salad plates were cleared."

However, our server was surprisingly inappropriate with language and behavior at moments even though the service wasn't bad. Just unusual for a place where your date bill can easily be $250."

  • "The food was very good the service was not. Our waiter was not attentive, even though the restaurant was not crowded, the maitre d' visited our table more than our waiter. The busboys that visited our table were unfriendly and looked unhappy. We ordered the lobster cocktail and when it arrived the meat inside of the lobster and the lobster was not pre-cut and it was VERY difficult to do this ourself at my table. Our waiter was not knowledgeable about our food....overall I was not happy. The only positive about this place is my entree was delicious."

I had the shrimp cocktail and the blackboard special red fish in curry sauce with mussels.   • "I work in a 24/7/365 environment. The term " Mission Critical" is not used lightly in our daily conversations. While in the midst of a snow storm that hit Atlanta, my coworkers and I, after being at work for almost three days,wanted something normal, something comfortable. The staff at BLT became that comfort. Each of them had the same bags under their eyes that come from an unusual sleeping situation, compounded by knowing you have to be awake and alert enough to serve others. Our meal was excellent. The staff was courteous. For about an hr or so, we were able to ignore the crooks in our necks and numbness in our toes and fingers. I have said it before, saying it again: I can cook at home, I dine out for the service. BLT had that service."

  • "The atmosphere of the restaurant fit the W hotel it was in, an updated take on a steak house. The steaks were excellent, as was the lobster and the sides. The one exception was the onion rings, which the table found bland and non-descript. We will try BLT again, and would recommend it to friends."

  • "My husband and I eat in Atlanta about 2 times per month trying new places. I read about this restaurant online so we gave it a shot. The food was very good and the service was good as well. We did have to wait on our wine a bit but that is being picky. It was a Saturday night so it was pretty crowded meaning the noise level was significant. It did not bother us but if you are looking for a quiet romantic spot this is not the place for you. However, if you want a lively and fun spot for a group of people this is a great restaurant. I would recommend it to friends."

We are admittedly foodies who really enjoy a good meal presented by a knowing and attentive staff. I've been all over the world for business and pleasure and have had my fair share of quality dining so keep that in mind for my perspective. I had heard good things and came away very pleased! Food was delicious and service was just right. The filet was perfect and that corn dish, ahhh, so unique. The wine sommelier made a recommendation for a Cab under $100 (actually $65) that was splendid but didn't break the bank. We'll go back!"

  • "Made you feel very trendy! Food was delicious. They made brussel sprouts look and taste divine! Even the beet salad was delicious! I don't even like beets!! Mac and cheese was better than your mama's! Oysters were fresh and smooth! Not crazy about baked potato or ceasar salad (spicy). Would have loved a "martini" menu, but drinks were unique and tasty! The "puffs" that they serve before the meal are the best thing ever!! In fact, you could eat them and not even be hungry! Very light and flaky. Waiter seemed a little overwhelmed with too many tables. Had to flag someone each time we needed something, even to get the intitial cocktail and menues after we sat down. Easily remedied by additional staff."

  • "I planned to have a nice relaxing date night with my husband but life made it complicated. Running about 15 minutes behind, I explained that we had tickets for a show in an hour and a half. It seemed like we had an entourage of people taking care of us. And in one hours time we had been treated like the only ones in the restaurant. The staff including the manager, saw to every detail. What had been a very stressful day, was calm and relaxed by the time we left. The only draw back would be traffic on Ivan Allen. Otherwise, the world disappears once you're inside. Food was spectacular."

  • "Once again BLT exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in until my departure. Sevice was spot on and my Wagyu Skirt Steak was prepared to perfection. The sides were fantastic and my guests ordered from the Chefs special menu and were thoroughly pleased. The added touch is that the staff and management are so personable it makes for a pleasant evening, if you haven't dined here I recommend you give them a shot."

  • "How could I have enjoyed brunch as many times as I have and not enjoyed this dish. Maybe it was the Eggs W keeping the rest of the menu in its shadow. Hint: take someone to brunch with you. Get the Eggs W and have them get the French toast. Discuss w/ one another how the cream cheese and crab make such beautiful music. Please....go try it."

  • "I can't recommend this restaurant enough! Those popovers (bread service) were heaven. Neil brought us unbelievable pate, and described the food well enough that I didn't even need my menu. We had a round of signature drinks, before diving into the wine list. Doreen was able to offer up many great choices. We had the Jordan, so good!! I like the ala carte approach because I like bites of multiple plates when I eat. The tuna tartar was so cold and fresh, and the oysters were perfect!! My New York Strip was perfectly cooked, and the herb butter was ohhh sooooo tasty! The mashed potatoes, the Brussel sprouts were great. The dessert we had was amazing. Some kind of passion fruit covered crepe. So light and refreshing. We'll definitely be back~~"

I had to flag down another server to clear the table and bring the check. Wanted desert but it was never offered. Service should never be an issue in a place at this price point."
