  • "Food was great...although my steak was overdone and they took it back and promptly provided me another one. It ended up being one of the best steaks Ive had. They ended up comping us a dessert which was nice. Waiter was great - manager was not. He was more interested in socializing and seemed very distracted. Overall, good experience for our 15th anniversary."

  • "Great location for romantic dinner or just an excellent meal with the best service in town. Very knowledgeable servers and wait staff and they all worked together like a well trained team. Our meal was do delicious, we talked about it for two days. We had a Filet and the Seabass which were both cooked to perfection and mouth watering. Would definitely recommend for special occassion or just an excellent meal. Large and notable wine list you will enjoy!"

  • "Have gone to the Camelback Inn over the years for special occasions so thought we'd try the steak house to celebrate a new job. Service was very attentive. The house speciality popovers were a treat. Started with the shrimp cocktail. 4 XL shrimp. More like mini-lobsters. Wife had the tuna appetizer and raved about it. Steaks (filet) were delicious. Slightly under cooked but not you don't (at least I don't) ever want to overcook a prime steak. Melted in your mouth. Sides were average (au gratin potatoes, carrots). Everything is served on Staub cast iron cookware so it stays hot throughout the meal. Dessert was peanut butter mouse with banana ice cream, but the real treat was the warm chocolate petifores. Had to ask for more!"

  • "WE have always gone to BLT for special occasions, such as birthday and anniversary dinners. WE rave about this place to all of our friends. We were extremely disappointed with the food and service. I do not know what has happened to this place. I do know if I am going to take my family out for a special dinner and pay $475, then it should be an amazing time. I don't think we will be going back."

  • "We had high expectations but 2 of the 4 steaks ordered were either too salty or too tough. The sides were good but not special. Too expensive to have so so steaks. Will not go back or erecommend unless you want pure convenience of staying at the resort."

  • "I took my 9-years old niece here last year and she remembered how good the food was, so I booked it again during a recent family vacation at the resort. I brought my now 10-years old niece and 6-years old nephew as well and the food was just as delicious this time around. I wish I took a picture of my nephew's face when he bit into the warm, buttered popover as he was just in heaven. We ordered the bone-in rib-eye which is served with the bone marrow, whole roasted garlic and herbs, as well as the grilled seabass, and they were just right. Dessert was brown butter, banana, and ginger flavored ice cream, which capped off a satisfying meal. Lastly, the wine list was well rounded and we even found the Chapoutier that is hard to find."

  • "We have been to The BLT Restaurant many times, and enjoyed it. Our server, Chris, is very knowledgable about the menu and is always a pleasure to have as our server. The menu has not changed, which we found different, as many restaurants make changes in the summertime, but we have found the menu to be somewhat the same. We had been at the Camelback Inn as part of a promotion which was too good to pass up and thought we would use some of our resort credit on BLT. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and the resort to anyone who enjoys being treated special."

A perfect blend of the classic and inventive, each dish we had was captivating, stimulating and satisfying.   • "Great steak house, High quality classic steak cuts broiled to perfection. The best service we've encountered in a Phoenix restaurant. The restaurant had a relaxed feel like a comfortable dining room in a home with a great view. We definitely would return. The bone in rib eye was amazing and the sides while small in portion were more than filling. The menu offered fish and fowl but this, first and foremost, is a steak house best to stick with the specialty. Service was well-timed, friendly & informative. The wine list was pricey but exceptional in quality. We will suggest to friends and return without question."

  • "Glad we found this restaurant during restaurant week. Took the whole family, including grandma, teenager and 8 year old. 8 year old was bored and ate late at the pool so was not hungry. Food was amazing. We had salmon and prime flat iron steak, both delicious. Tater tots and Popovers were a real treat. The peanut butter dessert was amazing. Definitely will go back. The patio is great beautiful view of camelback mountain, great place for coffee after dinner."

  • "We brought our daughter and her family during restaurant week and we all loved every minute and every bite of our dinners. Our server, Matt, did a great job. Our family included a well-traveled five-year-old, who enjoyed his meal as much as we did. Instead of ordering off the kids' menu from next door we shared our dinners with him because his tastes are sophisticated, too. He loved the salmon, and at Matt's suggestion, we ordered the large bone-in rib-eye so there would be enough to share with him. The family style sides were all delicious and so easy to share as well. This was the second time we've visited for restaurant week, and we come as well for great dining anytime. The popovers are addictive and the pate phenomenal!"

  • "This dining establishment prides themselves on fine dining but lacks in fine service. First of all we asked the server if we could add something to a side dish and his response was "we have a large wedding party and our food is already prepped and the chef doesn't want to substitute anything but I will ask". He never came back with an answer and basically throughout the dinner wasn't present. When someone came to bus the table they asked how everything was and I said "food was great but service was terrible". They sent manager over and we told him what happened and he said ok and went and got our check..not offered dessert menu or dessert drinks...who is the customer?? "

  • "We had a really great business dinner here on the patio watching the sunset on Camelback Mountain. The food was really good - the group having fish, chicken and steak all cooked perfectly. The sides are a nice size and really different (jalepeno mash - excellent and marinara squash blossoms - also great). We were having so much fun we had dessert and this was not a dessert crowd. They were excellent also. The service was really good - helpful, on top of evevrything and not intrusive. Highly recommend."

  • "My husband and I were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and BLT's was our choice of restaurant to celebrate this special occasion. This is the third year in a row that we have celebrated our wedding anniversary at BLT's and once again, BLT did not disappoint!! BLT has become our favorite restaurant when visiting Scottsdale, hands down!!! Our meals were simply outstanding, from appetizers to dessert. We will definitely be visiting BLT's during our next trip to Scottsdale. A true gem of a restaurant!!!"

  • "Not only did or server Samanda take care of us; the rest of the wait staff was gratuitous and polite as well. The meal was everything I could have good for. From the pate, to the pettifores. I always enjoy a 'mango' Moscow mule before I begin dinner and Sam did a wonderful job at selecting a beautiful Cabernet to go with my succulent Dover Sole and my significant's ribeye. Everything came out a great pace. We weren't rushed through this experience. I felt like we could take our time. We will be back!"

  • "I had the best bone in ribeye at BLT, it beat all other steak houses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Steak was prepared just how I like it!. My wife had the 2lb.lobster, (all cracked with no effort to eat). Popovers were an added treat. Service was superb, never felt rushed, very attentive staff. Surely beats any Mastro's, Flemings, Capital Grill, J&G, to name a few. It was easy to have a conversation as the noise level was very low. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "our booth had melted candle wax all over the seat, which I didn't notice until I scooted into it, this left waxy stains all over my white pants. I pointed it out to our waiter who said he would take care of the dry cleaning bill if it didn't come out in the wash. However, our dinner was early & we planned on going out after dinner, so I had to go back to the room & change, then it was 2 days before I returned home and then had the hassle of soaking my pants and using spray and wash before I laundered them. which is not what you want to be bothered with while unpacking after a vacation. I feel they should have offered drinks or desert as some compensation at the time of our meal."

  • "Expect an expensive evening. With that in mind, we also expect high quality food and service to justify the price point. That's where BLT fell short. The restaurant is lovely, particularly outside, where the spring Phoenix views are breathtaking. We made reservations, but still were unable to sit outside (be sure to request it on your reservation). The menu is quite tantalizing for the meat lover, but is not friendly for alternative diets, such as gluten-free (wait staff had no idea about gluten contents of the menu). The wine list is ELITE. I could not wait for an opportunity to try a Wagyu ribeye steak (have never seen it on a menu). Alas, they were out... I got a "regular" ribeye steak, which they overcooked twice. Food was OK"

We enjoyed a drink on the patio with a wonderful view of the Camelback Mountain, then had a table inside, but right next to an open door. The food and service were great with none of the formal, stuffy ambience at many comparable steak houses. BLT is now our go-to steak house, and we will be back for happy hour on the patio."

  • "We were going to be out all day & didn't want to drive somewhere for dinner from the hotel, but the hotel had HUGE events happening this particular evening, so we were a little nervous. No good reason for the concern - kudos all around to the Camelback Inn! A true inconvenience was parking, which managed to get handled & to our good fortune, we'd chosen to go ahead & try BLK Steakhouse & enjoyed a wonderful, wonderful dinner - from the interesting and delicious popovers to the highly recommended dover sole and everything in between, our tastebuds were happy! The ONLY caveat - this is not a bargain meal! We were prepared for costly, but there were items that could have been more reasonably priced. We're still glad for a great experience!"

  • "We had reservations @ 8pm, we were in on time, had exceptional service, and my husband tells EVERYONE how he had the best steak EVER. We wanted a nice , quick, meal- we set the pace for the meal and our server made sure that the timing was spot on- we were in and out in 1 hour 15 minutes- perfect for our schedule"
