  • "I have often eaten at the 57th Street location so this was my first venture to Flatiron. I was not disappointed. The decor was perfect. The martini was dry as the Sahara. The oysters were fresh and not briny. The steak was juicy, flavorful and was perfectly accompanied when paired with a baked potato and creamed spinach. All in all, it was perfect."

  • "I had checked out the menu on line as well as having seen a news segment on the Newest BLT Prime in Miami and had been salivating ever since. If I had dared, I would have ordered 3 appetizers and 4 sides and maybe skipped the steak But I didn't and the Steak was equally amazing! A delightful evening Next time I'll fast for two days and maybe even get to try the dessert OMG... The Pop overs!! How can Inot mention them, complete with the instruction to make them... Which I will! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful meal and foodie overload!"

  • "Took my boyfriend here for his birthday - our first time here. He loves steak so we were excited to try it. The location is beautiful and spacious. You do not feel cramped at all. The service is top notch. Everyone is exceptionally knowledgeable, even with the wine where they were very respectful about making sure you stayed in the dollar range you wanted to and didn't push expensive wines on you. Two words - pop overs!!! As for everything else we ordered - OUTSTANDING!!! Most importantly, they were great about my food allergies. I suffer from a tremendous amount of food allergies and everyone worked with me so I was safe and still had an incredible dining experience. Can't wait to go back! Did I mention the popovers?"

They have a dimly-lit room (so it seems to be aimed at a romantic atmosphere), but the music was so loud that patrons had to yell to be heard, which increased the sound level to unbearable levels. It was so dark, we used iPhone flashlight to see the menu. Food was ok, but too expensive for steaks. Service was poor, the waiter - ok, but other wait staff asked "Are you still working on that" (Not expected at an "upscale" restaurant) Also got the feeling that they wanted us out ASAP. Wine list was horribly expensive. We've eaten at 3* restaurants in France (Michelin guide) with more reasonable wine lists, and probably better. Much improvement to be made. Didn't have dessert, but prices were reasonable."

  • "Had dinner with my kids and the 3 of us had a thoroughly awesome meal. Bacon; oysters; Porterhouse for 2; strip steak; creamed spinach; onion rings; fries and of course dessert and of course cocktails. I have eaten at many of the top steakhouses and the Porterhouse here was off the hook tasty and cooked to perfection and seemed to be thicker than I have had before. The bacon was superb as were the desserts. I did not find the food over salted as others have noted. Recommend this restaurant highly."

  • "I had dinner with clients at BLT Prime and the overall experience was good but the restaurant failed to impress when it came to cooking the meat. We had a table for 5 and 3 of the 5 orders were undercooked: The hanger steak, The rack of lamb and the ribeye. My hanger steak came cooked medium rare to rare despite my specific instructions to the server that it be cooked medium. The meat was tender and flavorful, but I could only eat the end cuts. The server (who took his time to stop by the table after the main dish was served) offered to send it back to the kitchen but by that time it was too late as everyone at the table was close to finishing their meal. The steak tartare was, however, fantastic and so were all the other apps we had."

  • "I haven't to be BLT Prime in 3 years and it wasn't nearly as good as I remember. We started with the oyster appetizer, which were very good. I ordered the NY Strip - while it was seasoned to perfection, it was over cooked. I like a rare steak and it was medium rare with a warm center. My friend order KC rub bone in strip. It was not good. She asked for medium rare and it was medium well with a hot center. Very disappointing. We got the mashed potatoes and aspargus for sides, both very good. For dessert - the donuts were delish, the peach cobbler was a miss... The service was average - took awhile to get anyone's attention and I never really did figure out who was our waiter/waitress - maybe they do it by committee now."

  • "The menu looked amazing so we booked a reservation prior to seeing a show. We were running late due to traffic and explained this upon arrival, but regardless of our timing, the service was impeccable, we were treated royally. The food was amazing, we had a filet and a ribeye. The lobster cocktail appetizer was delicious but went quickly. The downfall of the evening was having to choose what to eat ....I wanted everything. The grilled asparagus was cooked perfectly-not always the case. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak dinner or just a great dinner with excellent service. It truly made for a great evening. (It seemed a little noisy inside, but we ate outside, which was wonderful)."

  • "Our experience was exceptional! There were so many delicious menu choices that it was hard to select, however my husband and I both ordered the strip steak and it was out of this world. The popovers were devine and we even left with the recipe. We do not ordinarily order dessert but felt that we had to because our meal was so delicious we knew that the dessert would be worth it-no surprise-the carrot cake was worth every bite! To top it off, as a baker of desserts, I inquired about the dessert special which was a buttermilk panna cotta. Much to our surprise, we received a complimentary dessert of the panna cotta and it was incredible. Before we left, I purchased a gift certificate for our son-in-law! Can't wait to go back! "

Steak came out lukewarm with a dollop of butter on top which failed to melt at all because the meat was not hot enough. The popovers, which this chain is so famous for, were also underwhelming because they were served nearly cold. All in all, disappointing."
