As always, the service and food were impeccable. I know that some say that there are other steakhouses in NY that are better...I would argue that most places don't give you great food, incredible wine selections AND great service/ambiance like BLT Prime. On this occasion our server was George. I can't say enough about him. The perfect service sums it up!!! BLT Prime Is not your typical run of the mill steakhouse... It's more. I normally skip the bread but those one are really delicious. But be careful with them and the appetizers because you need to keep some place for the stake.The porterhouse for two was great. And you should definitely try their potato skins as a side dish.
And something else - tables are big enough for everything. I mean that the normal size of tables in NYC is really compact and there is not enough place (in my opinion as a visitor from abroad). My friends got potato skins, tuna tartare, and salad. Everyone was overly pleased. Onto the dessert one of us got the praline sundae and it was totally delicious not real sweet but enough to fill your sweet cravings. The staff was very friendly. Knew their menu. And they took plates off the table as soon as you were finished. Very prompt on keeping the table clean and to bare minimum of clutter. Water glasses were always filled. The specialty drinks were also very delicious but a little small for what I'm used to at that price. Manager Mark helped me make night great. Had cold seafood platter which was excellent. Shrimp were huge. Oysters and clams were delicious. We had porterhouse for two which was great and a big portion. We had to take home half. Dessert was delicious. We had the pumpkin cheesecake and peanut butter mousse. The food is always beautifully prepared, just like you ordered it. But that's only half of the experience. The staff is really amazing, especially the sommelier, who remembers what I had last time (while I do not), and always recommends new finds from their extensive list of New World reds.

After multiple vists to peter luger, wolfgangs, strip house, sparks, del friscos and more, we finally made it to BLT Prime.
