"we went here for a wine-and-food pairing dinner as part of the Vail Food and Wine Festival. We had 5 courses with 5 wines. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The chef here is truly first rate. The dishes were very inventive without being too quirky. We will definitely go here again. p.s. - the bartender made a perfect Old Fashioned."

"We had reviewed and chosen some top restaurants in Beaver Creek and Vail to eat at. My son chose this one after reading something in a ski magazine. Very limited choices of food.....fairly priced but wine list very $$$$. Service excellent....Chicken dish underdone for several persons at the table....."

"Stunningly good food, quiet and peaceful surrounds, and lovely service. A small hitch in our order was more than made up for by generous and gracious staff and an extra order of the fabulous black truffle risotto. I have had several amazing meals here: always outstanding food, terrific wine options, and terrific staff. This is a go-to in Vail. They are my favorites !"

"The food was fantastic. Wonderful wine and beer selection. We loved the fact that kids are really welcome but it is not over whelmed by kids. The scallops and Brussels sprouts were our favorites."

"This may well be the very best restaurant in Vail. The chef's small bite tastes before the meal are delightful. The salads are wonderful, light, and highly creative. The main courses are beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We shared the tri-flavored creme brulee and it was amazing, even better than what I can make, and mine are fantastic. Make sure to try the Block 16 cabernet wine. Smooth.and so balance; not a heavy tannin, big-mouthed wine, but so smooth. The service staff are wonderful and there are so many people taking care of you over the evening, you will feel very spoiled. They are very careful with food sensitivities; I cannot have gluten, dairy, shellfish or nuts and that was no problem for Block 16. Try it!"
