  • "This is not my first visit to Bleu. I go as often as I can. The food is always consistently delicious. The manager is so friendly and nice and I have never received anything but the best service. Two of my favorite things are the She Crab soup and the fresh fried okra. Just the best!"

  • "I took my girlfriend to Bleu on our 1 yr anniversary with the intention of proposing. I spoke with the owner several times before our reservations to make arrangements for different things. It was perfect, my now fiancé said yes. The management did a great job making sure out night was perfect. The wait staff did an excellent job as well to keep checking on is but now to much to where it was interrupting us. I couldn't ask for a better executed evening. I even told the manager as we were leaving the Resteraunt that his staff did an excellent job. I wanted him to know his guys were doing things right."

  • "We have been to Bleu many times for both lunch and dinner. The manager is always present and very attentive to his customers and staff. The food is delicious and offered at a very fair price. Our favorites are the Ahi Tuna, Crab/shrimp cakes, and the chocolate torte. Their wine and cocktail list is really good as well. You can't go wrong at Bleu!"

  • "I have dined at this restaurant multiple times.This trip was for Valentine's day, so the poor food, close quarters to others & moderate service can partially be explained.Though, one would think the opposite should occur for a special occasion such as this (other occasions & word of mouth potential from so many diners).I am a professional & rarely leave comments or rate restaurants, just don't have the time.1.we were literally so close to the other tables to the left & right, that I could reach out & almost touch the other patrons.2. both of our soup& dinner plates were not good at all.I requested a modification of 1 vegetable for another, my server said doubtful because of the occasion?? @$80 for 2 & cant get a simple modification?Oh well."

  • "I've been to Bleu multiple times. It's my favorite restaurant in WS, but my experience was not good. Their she crab soup is delicious, but it was served to me cold. Our dinner took forever to get to us. My filet was overcooked and the butter for my lobster was cold. I know it was because it was V Day weekend, but come on. I hope that if it was someone's first visit to Bleu that they didn't have the same experience because they wouldn't return."

  • "My Fiance' and I had a good time. Our waitress was superb. I am still in search of a little more romantic seating. I asked for a booth, but I wasn't happy with the design of their booths. I guess, I just would have liked a little more privacy in my seating. Other than that, the food was good, the price was right, and we had a relatively good time."

  • "Everything was really great. I wish the waitress would have mentioned the soup and salad was not included in the meal with the steak. That was a surprise at the end of the bill. Phrasing the question, "would you like soup or salad?" should be changed to "would you like to add a soup or salad?" Otherwise it was all fantastic."

  • "Had an early Valentine's Dinner at Bleu. Had the duck with lobster rice. Duck serving was a little small more of a tapas size but had great flavor and the lobster rice was surprising very good. Girlfriend had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp were large and there was 10 or 12. She was very happy and great flavor. We will return."

  • "We went to celebrate my son's birthday, our waitress was great. The spring rolls and fried calamari appetizers were good,but he food was not great. There were four of us, ordered four different entrees and none us felt the food was great. The filet mignon was tasteless and felt dry. I would not recommend it to a friend or family. By the way, the complimentary pumpkin cheese cake was very much appreciated."

  • "My dinner had to be sent back twice to be cooked properly. If you don't cook prime rib correctly the first time, once you send it back, it never comes out well. If prime rib is sent back, the customer should receive a new cut,cooked properly. Don't recook two times what you didn't do correctly the first time."

  • "Overall, this is a very nice restaurant with very good food. However, we reserved for our anniversary and were seated in the area next to the 'smoking area'. It was 27 degrees out, and a steady stream of smokers kept opening and closing the door letting in painfully cold air filled with cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved to another area, and they did. But they should never seat people there, and in my opinion, should require smokers to smoke out front, away from tables. Our waitress was young, but gave us very good service, and was well acquainted with the menu. Everything we ordered was great, and their prime rib is excellent. The veggies are prepared well here also."

  • "I recently moved to Winston Salem for Business. I first tried Blues for a business dinner. After the exceptional service, I decided to have my dinner there for my anniversary. The Staff was great. From the time we were greeted until we left, we met with service second to none. The waitress made sure are needs were met while respecting our space. The greeter discussed my seating options based on the request I made through Open Table, and made sure my request was met. Food was Superb. I strongly recommend Blues for a exceptional dining experience."

  • "We ate at a booth in the bar area. It wasn't a very busy night. The ambience was great and our server was wonderful. I was extremely impressed with the food (not normal for a picky vegetarian like me). I will certainly go back. Appetizers and Dinner for two, two drinks each, all for $100.   • "We have been to Bleu for Mother's Day and didn't particularly like the food and service but decided we would give it another try. We were escorted to our table in the bar in front of the band. When I asked if we could be moved, the manager said this was the best he could do. The calamari was bland. I ordered the scallop risotto dish. The scallops were so greasy that I wasn't able to eat them. The risotto was just OK. My son ordered the cheeseburger and said the meat didn't taste right. The waitress was good which is the only reason I gave the restaurant a fair rating. I would suggest going to Village Tavern just around the corner is you would like a good meal. Bleu's sister restaurant, Bernardins, is good also."

  • "Apps and desserts were decent. Drinks were made incorrectly made and had to be sent back. When they arrived correct, they didn't fill the glass as one would expect them too. Entrees were very expensive, but unimpressive. When we commented on the temperature of one of them to our server, she blew off our comment and said she hoped we enjoyed it anyway. Ambience is decent; if you go to Bleu I recommend sticking with sandwiches or smaller items, and you'll be less disappointed than we were."

  • "I made reservations for our anniversary, so I asked for a table with as much privacy as possible. When we arrived the restaurant was extremely busy, but the GM Sam Strong managed to have a table set apart from the crowd waiting for us. He was phenomenal! I watched as he sat up another table, making sure that every detail was perfect, and when he thought that table might be too close to us he offered to move us (we hadn't ordered yet, so this was thoughtful and not rude). Our server was exceptional, she made sure our needs were met without being harassing. She knew the entire menu very well. The food was INCREDIBLE, and the prices competitive. Both of our steaks were perfectly prepared. No need to drive to Ruth's Chris again!"

  • "I was very disappointed with this experience. The food was simply not good. The crawfish beignets lacked flavor and tasted burnt and greasy. I ordered the duck cooked to the chef's recommendation -- medium rare -- but it was chewy and not good. The ambience had potential: It was a chilly autumn evening, so it would have been perfect for ambiance to have used the fireplace. However, that was not on and only the waterfall above the fireplace was in use. Overall, this restaurant seemed to aspire to a level of class to which it just could not reach. The food was terrible and the ambiance did not make up for it."

  • "We are still looking for an outstanding place to eat in W-S. Bleu was very good but not outstanding. The menu selection is quite good. We shared appetizers (calamari-very good, shrimp-a bit oily) and had the tuna (very good) and chicken pasta (very good). The service was very good as well."
