Blakeslee InnPocono Gem!After countless meals of typical fare in the Poconos (pizza, sandwiches, anything fried), it was a pleasant surprise to find the Blakeslee Inn. While the decor screams Catskills circa 1970, it is VERY well maintained. There's a nice variety on the menu, and the service is outstanding. Great for a nice dinner out, and they have a fabulous Sunday brunch. The service and presentation are elegant. The food is fantastic. The menu changes often enough that there are always several new things to try. I’ve never had one that was so good. I also tried Caeser salad, lightly dressed absolutely delicious. One of the best I’ve ever had! Both dishes are not to be missed.
My better half had the Monk fish with squid ink pasta, different and delicious and another that should not be missed. By the way Chef Mullen makes all his own pasta in house.

This was the Chocoholic Frolic. Their chef and pastry chef are amazing!! The menu was creative and each course blended the flavors perfectly! The entire staff are second to none.
