Made reservations on short notice.
Really hadn't heard much about the place, but turned out to be a excellent choice. My date had the Branzino, and I had the Bone in Rib eye, which was done to perfection. Wine list was well rounded, we chose the Blackstone Cabernet. Will definitely be going again."

This place is great - the steaks
are amazing and the service is exceptional!! If you love bacon order the Neuski Bacon as an appetizer - if you are a wine connoisseur you will not be disappointed they have an extensive wine list. I will say it's a bit pricey but well worth the money (come hungry) and parking can be a pain (look for side parking off East Main Street) I would suggest this place for a special occasion, birthday or for anyone that enjoys an amazing steak. I've only had the bone In New York Strip- which is very tasty but there are other items on the menu. I usually skip dessert because I am too stuff :)"

We had yet another perfect steak
at Blackstones. And, as always, the staff was fantastic! We are so lucky to have this steakhouse so nearby. We're going back for Valentine's Day!"
Dined on 2/8/2014
We have been to Blackstones
several times and it never disappoints! The steak is outstanding! If you are not a meat eater.. The fish selections and raw bar are outstanding! Service is excellent and we enjoy eating in the bar section for the ambiance."

I was my wife and daughter. We
ordered the crab cakes, escargot and bacon for starters. They were fantastic! Afterwards, two ribeye and a surf and turf were ordered. The meat was cooked perfect and the shellfish was terrific. Its a basement entrance ( think brownstone) and the rooms oozed of classy steakhouse and comfort (bring friends or clients). The owners were attentive and great to chat with. We are going back! This will be one of of our favorites in Mt. Kisco!. You can't do better in the area...we tried!"
Dined on 1/26/2014
Steaks awesome. Lobster and
mussels good. French onion soup yummy. Some bits oversalted. Very attentive staff, cozy basement space. Overpriced...but good for special night out."
Dined on 1/19/2014
The service was very slow. We had
a 8 O'Clock reservation and did not receive our entree until 9:30. There was a missunderstanding of some of the dishes that were ordered."
Dined on 1/11/2014
I've had dinner at Blackstone's
three times in the last month and have been pleased every time. We had New Year's Eve dinner there and loved it. The service is fantastic - just enough attention but not overbearing. Had the veal chop the last time I was in and it was amazingly good. Good wines by the glass and we had a red Riesling that was delicious!"
Dined on 12/31/2013
We have become regulars at
Blackstones, and the staff clearly appreciates the repeat business. The steak is always perfectly prepared, and the quality of the meat is consistent. We are fortunate to have a NYC-class steakhouse so close at hand."
Dined on 12/23/2013
great place even if you are not a
meat eater..Nice room and quiet ambiance. Overall a good dining experience."
Dined on 12/7/2013
We were in search of a great local
steakhouse and found it. Not only were the steaks excellent, but all the food -- appetizers, desserts and salmon and chicken -- was. Great service, great ambiance. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!"
Dined on 11/30/2013
We both had the ribeye steaks this
time. Cooked perfectly, large portion, little fat, prime, tender, juicy - one of the best I ever had. Escargot for the appetizer was excellent as were the mussels in wine sauce. No room for dessert. Pricey but well worth it."
Dined on 11/23/2013
It was more like a restaurant
trying to became steak house. Bad location, not great decor and the food was just ok. Apps were better than entrees. Dry steaks"
Dined on 11/15/2013
The meat was perfection; however,
with our clams casino appetizer (which has plenty of sauce), no additional bread was served (we were reluctant to ask, but no offer was made). The service was very slow although the restaurant was empty. Not enough on the plate. Aside from the meat, very small portion of mashed potato and vegetable. When I came home, I was still hungry and had more to eat. BTW, I am a 73 year old woman and weigh 127 pounds.."
Dined on 11/12/2013
We had long waits for appetizer
and between courses, but other tables did not seem to. Don't know whether this was due to service or kitchen staff."
Dined on 11/10/2013
Food, service & atmosphere were
great - we will revisit!"
Dined on 11/9/2013
If you've got deep pockets, this
is the place to go to get a great steak. They also have a raw bar that I will try out next time."
Dined on 11/8/2013
First time here. Good food. Not
many complaints but it was freezing inside! They need to have the heat on higher."
Dined on 11/8/2013
This is a steak house - and my
friend had a delicious filet, but I ordered the chicken and it was fabulous. The sauce was wonderful, as was the sauce on the clams casino."

We were already a fan of
Blackstone's having dined in the Norwalk Ct. location many times. We recently moved to Yorktown in Westchester, NY and were informed that there was a Blackstone's in Mt. Kisco. The setting is a charming few step walk down location in Mt. Kisco. There are two main sections, the bar area and a more formal dining room . We chose the bar area that had high tops for dining . We were not disappointed at all. Same great steaks, and sides with enough other choices for the non meat eaters. The drinks were ample , and the service was outstanding . My wife and I were more than satisfied splitting a ribeye, and ordering two salads, and we still had extra steak . Blackstone's will be our new go to place for steak !"
Dined on 11/1/2013
We went with another couple and
had a wonderful meal. The steaks were aged well and cooked to prefection. Can not wait to go back."
Dined on 10/5/2013
The restaurant staff were very
discombobulated. The person who might have been in charge, did not take charge, and there was an air of chaos. Everyone coming in before and after us were shown to the bar with no explanation as to how long our wait would be etc We were shown to a table which had not been laid. Our waiter must have felt bad for us as he offered us a free drink, but did not apologize or explain. We did not make a complaint nor a fuss."
Dined on 10/5/2013
What a great place to have a
steak, prepared perfectly to suit your taste! Each of us wanted our steaks cooked differently and we all got just what we asked for, and more! Knowledgeable staff, pleasant anbience and excellent food. We will certainly visit again. And, you don't have to order steak to get a great meal. The fish and veal chop were also delicious, not to mention the wine...Enjoy!"

We had a reservation & waited over
a 1/2 hour for our table. The waiter told us there were more walk-ins than reservations. I didn't really care, I should not have had to wait that long. After we were seated without menus, it took us a good 10 minutes to flag a waiter down to get us some...so far about 40 minutes into our evening, have not ordered our dinner or drinks. The service was disappointing. Food was good, not great. You would think when we ordered a sorbet for dessert that would come quickly...nope, had to wait for that too. I think they should have offered to buy us dessert or an after dinner drink...nope.::: that's bad business, in my opinion. I expect more from a steakhouse when they charge what they do."
Dined on 9/28/2013
Lots of good choices on menu.
Steaks excellent. Service and ambiance notable too. Fine choice."
Dined on 9/20/2013
I ordered the tuna and was told
they were out. I ordered a house salad that was supposed to be filled with cheese, nuts, and dried fruit. A plate of greens arrived with a meager sprinkle of cheese on top. The waiter was apologetic when I complained and brought it back with the toppings. The lobster cocktail was nicely presented but tasteless and so cold that it probably was frozen and thawed. Perhaps the fact that it was Sunday night had something to do with it. I love the Blackstones on Long Island, but this one clearly didn't come close."
Dined on 9/23/2013
Overall dinning at the restaurant
was ok, the prices were a bit exorbitant even for this area !!!"
Dined on 9/1/2013
Excellent dinner, the steak and
fish dinners we had were great. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The wine list was very good too. Would definitely recommend and return to try more entrees. For a new restaurant to have their act together so quickly is another sign they know what they are doing."
Dined on 9/1/2013
Had an excellent steakhouse meal.
Service was very good and steaks were prime aged quality and perfectly cooked. Easily best steakhouse in Northern Westchester."
Dined on 8/13/2013
Only a 45 minute drive, when we
are in the mood for the Bone-In Ribeye, no gristly fat either. Cooked to perfection, blackened crunchy NOT burnt, med. rare minus on the inside. The lightly breaded chicken dinner was also very good. Great desserts too."
Dined on 7/30/2013
Blackstones is a good steakhouse
and if you live in Northern Westchester this is the place you should go to enjoy a steak. But Blackstones is like most other steakhouses and that's OK, but the competition is tough with several other choices in the area. Blackstones holds its own against Flames and the Willett House. This is a nice addition to the Mt. Kisco dining scene."
Dined on 6/26/2013
We read mixed reviews about this
restaurant. We found it to be adequate. The steaks were cooked to our request, the service was very good, as was the food. It was a bit stuffy and seemed to attract a senior clientele. The atmosphere was like a stately, old gentleman's club. Winged-back chairs and scotch would have made the scene complete. We would recommend and return."
Dined on 7/7/2013
We went for dinner on a Saturday
night at 7pm and the place was empty. Our meals were good, certainly not excellent which it should have been for the price. We didn't stay for dessert, as the menu looked rather plain. The service was very good."
Dined on 6/30/2013
We went on a Thursday night and
the restuarant was not busy. We started with escargot and a crab cake as an appetizer. The escargot was delicious with an ample portion. The crab cake was equally as good and a very generous portion. For the entree, we shared the porterhouse steak for two as we did previously expecting not to be disappointed. We weren't!! If possible, it was even better than the last time, perfectly done medium rare and it cut like butter. We ordered sides of creamed spinach and mac and cheese which were good. There was no room for desert. The menu is varied, including several seafood dishes and meats other than beef. Atmoshere was typical of an upscale steakhouse. The experience was terrific!"

I ordered a rib steak for dinner
and the waiter asked me how i would like it prepared - I said Well Done - the waiter then proceded to tell me I do not want the steak well done - but rather he would have the chef cook it another way - and if I then didnt like it - he would take the steak back to the kitchen as often as possible - and then have it cooked to my liking..... I told the waiter that I want it prepared Well Done - and looked at me in amazement. I didnt think I needed to defend my choice of how I wanted ny $44.00 steak prepared. He then said OK- and would bring it as I had ordered it. The steak was prepared well done - and I did enjoy it - although not the confrontaton with the waiter. I will not return to Blackstones in Mt Kisco"

This was our 3rd dining experience
at the new Blackstones Steakhouse in Mt. Kisco. It was Monday, and the restaurant was deserted. The server was cheerful and knowledgeable. We chose the Porterhouse steak for two, and it was perfectly prepared. The quality of the meat rivals the top steak joints in Manhattan, but the prices are $10 to $15 less per person. The side of French fries was average-probably Ore Ida shoestrings-certainly not hand cut. Creamed spinach, however, was excellent-with a touch of nutmeg, which pleased my spouse! The wine list is well thought out, with some attractively priced choices. We are happy to have Blackstones nearby."
Dined on 5/21/2013
Felt the quality of the meat was
good, but thought the prices were very expensive for the type of place it is. There was a very musty smell upon walking in. Two things we ordered came out wrong...we asked for our vegetable steamed, but it still came out sauteed in garlic and oil. A different salad than the one we ordered came to the table. These things were fixed immediately. Too pricey for a neighborhood place."
Dined on 5/26/2013
Very disappointing....very plain
food, unprofessional service...but NYC prices. The lobster cocktail was a bowl full of shells and a couple of pieces of cold lobster...that did not come from the shells they chose to put in the bowl! The French onion soup of too sweet and my Husband who loves French Onion soup didn't even eat it. We told our waiter, but he didn't care. Our steaks were unseasoned and not flavorful...sides were very bland. We will not return! Go have a great meal at Gabriel's in Greenwich for the same price with incredible food & service!"
Dined on 5/19/2013
The Mt. Kisco area is enhanced by
this steakhouse/there was not one in the area. Food was delicious, fresh, and steaks were perfectly prepared. We went for Mother's Day, and it was a great choice."
Dined on 5/13/2013
Olives serves with break was a
really nice touch. Ordered 2 red wines by the glass that had long overstayed their life in the bottle. Caesar salad was way overdressed with what appeared to be a heavy store bought dressing. The salmon was a perfectly cooked but the spinach was drowned in oil. Beef Medallions were disappointing at best. We passed on dessert"
